Default Momentum And Activity Points

Hello everyone,

I hope it is ok to ask this here, but this is for any one who is still doing the momentum plan or any one who has done it in the past with success. Before P.P. when I did momentum, I didn't lose at all, and I was afraid to use the activity points or weekly points, so when P.P. came out I WAS READY FOR A CHANGE. I followed it to a T, but I didn't lose any thing and after 4 months I started to gain a little, so I backed off of it because I felt like I was eating too much and it was hard to get in the points. I did let my leader look at my journal and he couldn't find and thing wrong with it.Any way I think I am going back to the momentum but first here is my question, with momentum I get 19 pts. and I ALWAYS STAYED WITH THOSE 19 PTS.but I wasn't losing anything. Do you think I would have a weight loss if I added some extra pts. and if so, how many should I add? I am thinking 19 momentum points may not be enough, but I know 29 points plus point is too much. Any replies would be appreciated .

Thank You

All you can do is try it. Everyone is different. You need to figure out what will work for you and trying new things is the way to do it.

Sorry I'm sure that wasn't exactly what you were looking for, but no one will be able to give you an exact answer. But if you weren't losing on momentum and then weren't on PP I would try to figure out points plus. I think it's a better program nutritionally, it's easier to follow for the long run. It's not like you are going back to something that worked great for you.

I'm stuck too. Momentum and pp. I just need to get my head back in the game.

You said that on the momentum plan you weren't eating your APs and wasn't losing, but with the PP u felt the 29 points and the APs was too much. How about you try the 19 on the momentum plan AND eat your APs?

I want to thank you both for your advice, when I did momentum I didn't lose, but I didn't gain, but with points plus I did gain, yesterday one of the leaders told me that I didn't have to eat all of the 29 points she said I could just eat till satisfied, so I think I will try that, and if it still doesn't work then I will do momentum and I will add the activity points.

thanks again

Webb

You are also really close to your goal weight, so it gets really hard to lose those last 10-15! I'm in the same place. My body just doesn't want to drop to the lower weight! I've tried eating more eating less exercising more exercising less, and nothing seems to work! It is frustrating, but I know I am healthy, so that is what is important! Keep with it, and you'll lose it eventually

They do say that while you should aim for 29 PP it is OK to eat to satisfaction and not worry about it if you don't quite get there. Are you eating any WP during the week?

That said, I would tend to want to add activity (but not eat the activity points), make sure I was weighing everything properly, and limit zero points fruits and vegetable to a reasonable number per day.
