Haha. That post along with the somewhat grumpy looking face in your pic cracked me up.

I actually did really good this week. But, yes, it is Monday :-P

I expect to be down a bit this wk as I'm not really hungry and eating less than usual. My mom passed away on the wkend and I'm dealing with things pretty well but just don't have a lot of appetite right now. I'm eating little bits here and there but at least am choosing good stuff, fruits and a bit of protein. I'm a bit surprised tho b/c every other stressful time in my life I turned to food for comfort and would overeat. I think that WW is finally teaching me how not to rely on food for comfort which is a huge breakthrough for me as I have been a food addict all of my life.

I'm so sorry bcgal. Losing my mother was the hardest time of my life. We are all here for you to talk to.

My Monday, in a word, sucked. I weigh in tomorrow and I'm going to show my first maintain/gain. Whichever.

After doing a week of being kinda strict with myself, I finally saw a decent loss. For the past month, I had been barely losing. So I was very excited to have lost 3.2 this week.

I liked the topic this week. My fiancé and I eat out alot, so it was nice to hear other peoples opinions on WW while at restaurants. I already know that on Mothers Day my family is going to a fancy french restaurant for brunch. So I'm saving all my weeklies for that. I'll try to do extra good until then because I know I'm gonna wanna try everything at Le Pavillion.

Hope everyones weeks going well!

I had a serious issue with bloating last week, but it managed to work itself out before my WI. This week, I'm on plan food-wise, but my exercise is off a bit. I've got to get my mojo back on that front because I really want to see 15# / 5% this week.

My mother is flying up from Florida for five days, so she's coming to WW with me while she's here. She's doing P+ too, and she kept hinting that she was going to skip WI but I wouldn't let her get away with that. :-P

I'm also cooking dinner Saturday night for my mom, my MIL, and my step-FIL. My mom and MIL rarely get to see each other, so doing Mother's Day with them on Saturday works out well. They can catch up, and my MIL can see my SIL and the grandkids on Sunday while we go to my family's dinner. By cooking, I can be in control of points and stay on plan. :-)

Just out of curiosity... I know the weight loss will eventually slow down, but I'm curious what your experiences have been. When you first started, for how long did you lose consistently without a loss or with a gain?

I've had a good week so far. I lost .8 lbs, but its still a loss. My mini goal was to lose 20lbs by my cruise next week and i'm less than 2lbs away from that goal, so I consider that a victory! I'm just worried about gaining so much on my cruise, but I know if I do I can work it off again!

I've had a cold/sinus infection for almost a week now, so..I'm not really sure what to expect at my WI tomorrow evening. I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary; if anything I've been eating much less than usual, which I guess is what's worrying me (the whole eating below your points thing, you know?)

Last week I was only 1.6 pounds away from having lost 25 pounds. I hope to have gotten there this week, but since I've been sick, I won't be TOO hard on myself if I don't.

everyone says about bloating during TOM.. or before. Have you tried those water pills.. or the menstrual ones? i dont generally need them, but for good measure, i take them the day before and morning of weigh in

i dont think i'll be weighing in today. i weighed myself this morning and i was up .2 - and i dont get much lighter than first thing in the morning. And im disappointed, because i was down 1lb BUT then i ate 3 servings of mac and cheese last night for dinner and 3 sugar cookies and milk (for the whole day mind you)... im inclined to think this tiny gain is salt related, but even more to not go i think lol
that and my husbands car is in the shop, and they have my number

any excuse, right?

My fiance and I are going out to dinner at a japanese restaurant with my parents and lil brother. To celebrate my bro and my fiance's birthdays. We will be doing the hibachi table, bc my brother is obsessed.

What do y'all think would be the best choice? Do you think it would be rude to ask the chef not to use butter in mine? I hate to be a hassle.
