Default So I know I shouldn't really get my hopes up...

But I "cheated" and weighed myself (I told myself I would only weigh at my meetings!) because I was curious if working with the trainer was having an effect yet... and I'm pretty sure I've lost a few pounds already since Saturday! When I got on the scale it said 200! (I was 204 on Saturday)
So lets hope it's right! I can't wait to weigh in Saturday!

different scales are different. So unless you started on this scale don't get too fixated on that number.

Congratulations on your losses so far!!

Don't feel bad for stepping on the scale, I weigh myself daily because I like to know which foods affect me most. The key is to NOT get discouraged if you see a number you dislike.

My home scale is usually a little over a pound more than the scale at my center but a loss is a loss.

Keep up the great work!!

I totally weigh myself every morning! Dont feel bad about it... as Kimberly said, its nice to see how certain foods effect us and make our weight go up and down, or for instance how your weight can increase after a good work out. I think its perfectly normal

Grats on your hardwork though! your almost at the 199 and under mark!!!! how exciting!!!!!!!

Well hey, as long as it went down I'll be happy! I've lost .4 each week so far, so seeing a NON decimal number would make my day! lol

congrats! i also weigh myself daily and for the same reason as kimberly: i like to see how what im eating is affecting my weight. i also like to be held accountable for what im putting into my body and weighing myself everyday helps motivate me to work harder so that i can have a good weigh in.

i recently changed my weigh in day from monday to tuesday because ive noticed that my weight is at its lowest on tuesdays EVERY week. in the past, my strategy was not to use my weekly points and splurge until saturday which would have left me sunday to get back on track with drinking water and eating right so that monday weigh in would be good. but EVERY monday it seems im still carrying extra weekend splurge weight and my weigh ins are always bad. but then by tuesday, im back down to where i think i should be.

so i was so bummed this monday when i weighed in and saw that i had gained 1.6 pounds...but then i weighed back in on tuesday and found that, actually, i had lost 1lb. i think moving my WI to tuesday will do me good.

WTG!! No such thing as "cheating". It'll drive you crazy if you don't allow yourself to do what you need to to be accountable. That being said, I can go a little overboard, so I limit myself to weighing twice a day. Sometimes I don't weigh at all, but if I'm having a bad day, I like to weigh myself multiple times and that's not good for anyone in the house if you get my drift...
