My freezer is full of pastured meats, and the pantry is stocked but I was pleasantly surprised by my grocery cart today:
Broccoli
Leeks
Cauliflower
Broccoli Rabe
Baby Bok Choy
Collard Greens
Yams
Celery
Carrots
Onions
Pears
Bananas
Apples
Tofu
Tuna
Low fat yogurt
2% milk



No excuses not to eat my veggies!

I love stocking my freezer and not having to get grocery store meat...mostly we get ours from an independent butcher and from the farmer's market. Actually, we get most of our veggies from the farmer's market too. I always wonder what people looking at my cart at the grocery store think, given that it almost always has NO veggies, NO fruit, and NO meat, just a few random things like almond milk, yogurt, popcorn, whole grains, etc.

Yep, grassfed meats for me! Although I think tonight will be tofu stir fry.
