This pretty much sums up last week for me! My girls turned 2 and 4, so two birthday cakes within 4 days of each other. And since I "forgot" to log the first slice of cake it was easy to forget to log the others. The scale doesn't forget, though!

Ashley, good for making it through the day and staying on plan! The afternoon is hard for me too, if I don't plan a decent snack then I'm ready to eat everything in the house by dinner

haleygirl - My last week wasn't good either and Monday's weigh in showed it, so I know how you feel.

I woke up starving at 3 am, my little guy is nursing a ton and it's showing up in my appetite. I got up and had 1/2 a small baked potato left over from dinner and a cup of cherries, and I'm off to log it right now. I'm saying this here to keep myself honest.

Aaaaaaaack!!!! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! This is my EXACT problem.

But I'm proud to announce as a small non-scale victory, that on my camping trip I only had two smores, I tracked them, and I stayed in my points the whole time! The day we came home we were so tired so we drove through Taco Bell. I went over points that day but I stayed well within my weeklies and according to my home scale I am down some pretty big numbers this week. I will post official numbers tomorrow night after weigh in.

Also I want to welcome everyone to the thread. Hopefully I will have time to read all the posts every day even if I can't respond to everyone.

What I'm noticing here is that a lot of you guys have the same struggles I do! Yay I'm not alone!!

Only 3 more hours until weigh in and I am so excited to see how much I lost after hitting the restart button at the meeting last week!

I had a good day yesterday and so far today. Why can't we remember how much better we feel when we eat healthy foods and cut the junk?

Can't wait to see how you did, melbellrocks! My wi is Saturday morning.

Ok gals hold onto your underthings...

I LOST 9.8 AT WEIGH IN!!!!!!

That is for ONE week! Boy am I glad I hit that restart button and really stuck to it. I am now out of my danger zone of going back over where my 10% goal was, and I gave myself PLENTY of buffer! I am so excited!

Of course I know that this is a one time thing and it won't be that big every week, but it doesn't matter...this loss was enough to keep me sailing for a good while!

I hope all of you here who are recommitting have good news this week, too!

I know exactly what you mean. When you're OP, it's the easiest thing in the world, and once the Snack Demon, or the "Of course I can go out to dinner tomorrow night" suggestion pops into one's head, it's the hardest thing in the world. I don't know why we can't cut the junk, except we are surrounded by it, and have trained ourselves in bad habits. Here's to breaking 0ld bad habits and forming new ones!

kestrel, you are restarting at one of the most difficult times. If you can keep on track nutritionwise even if you're over points, you'll be doing well.

haleygirl, I love your attitude. If you know what went wrong, yes, you can fix it.

Today was fairly easy for me. My schedule on Wednesday and Thursday is closer to my normal schedule and tomorrow is the last day before I can, in theory, have total control over meal times and meals for 4 weeks. I'm not going to worry about the scale this weigh in (for me, that's Sunday). I'm tracking, but I don't want to get in, "Oh, no! You didn't lose! This isn't working!!" mode.

Have a good Thursday, everyone!
