Greetings! I am a 40-something, Michiganian who can't believe I got so darn fat. (OK, I can believe it but...it just seems to sneak up on you until one day you look in the mirror and say WTH happened here? )

Just joined* WW after doing Atkins for 3 weeks. Didn't like how restrictive that plan was and didn't seem feasible for the long term. Plus, I like to say my Irish roots were crying out desperately for a potato (or any other baked good for that matter) after 3 weeks. I seriously had dreams about eating a pita chip.

Did WW several years ago through a WW at Work program but no longer work for that employer.

Have lots to lose but am encouraged by the weight loss so far.

*Dh and I are both doing WW and are going it alone.

Hi guys!

I joined WW a little over a week ago. Our family just relocated back to Louisiana from Atlanta area. We had been transferred with my husbands job immediately after being married 22 years ago. Moved around with his job many times over the years but spent the last 7 in Georgia. It is so good to be "home" and around family and old friends again BUT I have enjoyed it a little too much! I have gained about 10 pounds(on top of the other 35 I need to lose) in the 6 months we have been here.

I have joined WW with a friend and together we will try to find our groove and begin this journey to a new lifestyle! My previous attempts at WW were not very successful long term because I used the excuse that everything was allowed and spent my points eating junk and unhealthy foods because I could! Needless to say..... it was not the plan but the poor choices that was my demise! I am in a different mindset and am hoping the 0 pt fruit and veggies will be enough encouragement to make better choices with meals and snacking.

So far so good...... down 5.4 pounds the 1st week! This 2nd week has been a little more difficult as we have had out of town guests for the last 5 days! The last 2 days were a bust.... like over the weekly bonus points kind of bust...... but everyone left this morning and I am back on track!!

Hi all! I'm back to 3FC and just joined WW 3/19. I like the philosophy of WW which is more like this is a lifestyle shift, not just another fad diet.

It's going really well for me so (of course, it's only been a week and a half!), so well, in fact, that I worry about how easy it's been to stick with it.

I did WW about 11 years ago, so a lot has changed. Plus, I now desire to be healthy, not just thin

I am really enjoying the Recipe Builder as I cook a lot from home. I also like the Routines idea and am working on Eating Breakfast, Getting 7-8 Hours of Sleep, and Putting Down Fork/Sips of Water Between Bites.

I haven't gotten much into exercise, but am hoping to get ActiveLink when I hit either my 5% or 10% goal.

Hi fellow weight watchers

Im new to the program, started Good Friday, lost 3 lbs already. Ive been on every diet out there and found that after the novelty wears off, I rebel against restriction. I think this is were the huge advantage is with WW, flexibility and splurge points. Looking forward to sharing the journey with u all

Hello there,

I have recently joined WW online and am looking for a little extra support. Through faffing about and not being serious I have just lost 5.5lb this year.... but I am back to tracking and hope to lose the next 50lb quicker

I am in the UK (Kent), I'm 48 and live with my dog called Pickle (cos she's always in one ) who is lively and about 4.5yrs old.

Hello all! I just joined the forum today, hoping to get a bit of encouragement and good info.

I'm 37 years old and have been doing WW for 5 weeks now. I lost 1-2 pounds a week for the first couple of weeks but hit a wall at 4.8! I figure this looks like a good place to find information and perhaps a bit of advice

Hi all! I am new back to WW, I did it for a few months, years ago but wasn't successful, I think I cheated ha ha!!!!!! I did South Beach and lost it all, but you know, when you stop you gain it all back ! So here I am!

My plan is to stick hardcore (online, meetings, going in to weigh, etc.) to it for 3 months and see if I can just do online.

I'm BACK! I initially joined WW in November 2010. I successfully did it for a year, then I was on and off for about 6 months. I cancelled my membership because I wasn't attending meetings and was constantly doing the "well, you blew it with that ______ you might as well just eat whatever and re-start tomorrow." I did that for those last 6 months. From November 2010 to November 2011 I lost 70 lbs. From December 2011 to October 2012 I gained back 58 lbs...I'm so ashamed! You know how they say once you stop you gain it all back and more. I was actually proud that I hadn't gained it all back. UGH.

Anyway, as of this past Monday, I re-started on my own. I have all the materials from WW PP, so that is what I am starting with. We're down to one income, otherwise I would re-join with the monthly pass like before. But my husband and I have agreed that if I stick with it for 6 months and/or we get more income, I can do the monthly pass again.

It'll be nice to get to know you all here and maybe see some familiar faces!

Hi, everyone! I'm a 23 year old mommy to two doggies. I'm about to return to school (grad school) full-time & I think getting in control of my eating & lifestyle will do wonders. ... After seeing two of my good friends go through WW, and 1+ years later they are still walking success stories, I've finally decided to join Weight Watchers online. I'm taking the 2 week free trial seriously so here's hoping I see some improvement!

Default checking in and saying hello

I started WW five weeks ago, after years of resistance to it. I did it a few times over the years, but flaked out quickly. With the new technology, being able to track everything on my phone, iPad and any computer, it's a whole lot easier to stay on top of things and be honest and accountable for what I'm eating.
For the past two years, I've gone up and down, about 50 pounds a few times, using several restrictive quick fixes. But they're not sustainable for me as a way of eating for the rest of my life. WW Points Plus is. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. While the weight loss is much, much slower, it's consistent and easier.
I'm happy to be on the plan, and thought it would be nice to check in and get to know some of you, hear about what's working for you and what isn't.
So, hello all! Have a great week.

Hi!!! I was here a few years ago and I'm back! The scale has crept up and I have added some baby weight to that so I'm starting to get it off. I'm doing WW and having some success with it. Looking forward to reconnecting with the community as I found it great last time around!!!!
