Default Can't wait to hit the weights again

I lifted for 12 years and have been lazy for 4, its time to get back on track.I look forward to getting to know all of you. I'm going to start with Full body training on M,W,F for 6 weeks and then will start doing splits. I splurged and got myself the Bowflex Select Tech dumbbells, its sad that I have a full home gym with a treadie and recumbent cycle and its only been gathering dust, not anymore. I'm on a mission

It is a good feeling when you shake the dust off that exercise equipment, isn't it?

How do you like the bowflex weights? I caught part of a commercial for them, they look pretty slick.

Welcome, DMB. I look forward to seeing you post. Hope your re-entry into the world of weights goes well. Remember, you'll get the muscle memory back sooner than you might think. Best of luck.

Thank you all for the welcome, I just did the treadmill for 2 miles so its a start. I have not used the select tech weights yet, I'm waiting for the stand, I also have the full Bowflex system and when I was faithfully lifting I used to go between that and free weights. I prefer free weights to machines, I think you get more definition. There is nothing more exciting and motivating than a nice bicep peak.
