Oh no, I like the taste of mine just fine... I just can't handle eating/drinking anything but water after I work out, for some reason. I tried the myoplex, actually, and found it wayyy too sweet.
That made me LOL. I've been known to have an unusual sweet tooth. I put 7 sugars in my McD medium coffee.
I've been doing some research and it seems to say that eating about 20-60 minutes before the work out is best.
However I usually lift and do cardio on the same day and when I do cardio I tend to feel sick if i eat too much beforehand. What has been working for me though is I eat half of a luna protein bar 30 minutes before my workout session and then the other half a little bit after. My goal has been to build up some muscle and its working for me...slowly...
