I went to netrition to make an order and it included next proteins designer protein absberry sundae smoothie (my favorite MRP...a little high in sugar so I try to stick with the MetRx Berry Blast but I love one of these once or twice a week...very refreshing! Voted NUMBER ONE MRP in Taste by Muscle and Fitness Hers!). Well, they are no longer carrying it.

I have three URGENT questions:
1) Does anyone have a reliable source for MRPs that carries this?

2)Next Proteins has come out with a line of GycerLean Protein powders and one is absberry flavored. I wonder if this is the same as the absberry smootie. The container is about 45.00. A lot of money to find out! does anyone know where one might find this out?

3) Did they discontinue this? Why would netrition stop carrying it?

If anyone knows the answer to these questions, please let me know. In the meantime, I am surfing the net trying to find the answer myself.

Why do they always discontinue that which I love??? When I was low-carbing Carbolite discontinued the hot chocolate mix that was GREAT stuff.

Susan - I just checked the company website at http://www.designerwhey.com/index.html and went to the Site Map. When I clicked on "Smoothies" the page for GlycerLean came up - so I think it's safe to assume that the GlycerLean products replaced the "smoothie" products.

You might try contacting the company to see if they could send you a sample to try...hope that helps a bit!

thank you MrsJim. I did exactly what you said. They have discontinued the smoothie but (how cool is this?) they gave me the recipe. They said it is natural whey protein (by Designer Protein of course) with frozen strawberries and blueberries (that is where the sugar comes from, they add Splenda no granulated sugar!), splenda and powdered glutamine. They said that if I wanted a more berry flavor to use strawberry (I actually have some of that but I don't think it tastes as good as theirs). They said the Glycerlean is VERY good and the woman I spoke with said I might find the Absberry in the glycerlean to be the same. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I don't know if I should chance it. Maybe I'll use up my strawberry first.

HELP

How do you make this jello + cottage cheese mixture thingy? I have the portions totally out of whack. It turned out like play-doe!
