Congrats Ladies, I am on round #2 of the cycle (I did crossfit for a while after the last one). Today is Round 2 workout A #1

I recomend the nutritional plan however! Proper diet and nutrition is key to a fit figure. It's more important than lifting. You can lift all you want, but unless you eat properly (and NROLW will assist you in calculating your proper calories), results will not be nearly as great!

I don't think Kritter meant she wasn't following any nutrition plan, just that she's not following this one! I have another plan that I use, although I have looked at the NROLW one, but in the end stayed with what I was using. I agree that nutrition is as important as the actual lifting.

I am following a nutritiopn plan just not the one in the book! Sorry for the confusion. I am eating a lot of protein and veggies, beans, dairy. Just trying to cut back on the carbs a bit. I know I need carbs to get through the workouts but I have seen women do the exercise part of the plan using the TNT diet. I am not doing that nutrition plan. I have been following my own. It seems to be working for me so far. I do get enough carbs to feel energized and strong so I think I will most likely do the NROLW nutrition plan once I get closer to my goal weight.

I did my second workout and I feel great. Really liking the exercises in the book.

Not sure if I'm doing the deadlifts the right way. My barbell doesn't seem to come high enough off the floor to be resting at my shins. So I have to lift it a little in front of my shins. Is this bad?

Ah ok! I don't actually follow it either, I use Zone! NROLW is a great program. I believe crossfit.com has video demo's of the deadlift.

sacha ~ Thanks for the video suggestion! I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't doing the nutrition part! How have you done on the zone diet?

Zone works great for me! I just make sure to keep up the exercise and leave at least 1 treat meal a week!
