I have never been to a CF gym, but I enjoy looking at their website and incorporating WOD's into my workouts. I have a friend in the Bay Area and she's totally remade her body doing CF.
I like how I feel following The Zone. It gets me so far away from all processed foods and sugar. I am not doing it right now. I know all the blocks and it would be easy enough. But not quite as easy as simply counting calories. I know next time I need a change and need to tweak things, I'll follow it again.
