Good for you Buffy! I hope you enjoy the Y. I know I feel better all day when I start out with my exercise.
I'm always a slug on the weekends, didn't do any thing except Oxycise before bed last night, and I will do another session tonight. But tomorrow starts another week, and I plan to exercise all 5 days.
i walked this morning!!! YIPPEEE YAHOOO!!! for two miles. that wasn't the smartest thing to do. one mile would have been enough... i'm very very tired.
Mom was busy this morning so we didn't walk. But I did do my advanced WA class at 9:00, and I actually felt I got more out of it by not walking first, but I walk w/Mom so she will do it, and I'm going to keep it up as long as she will/can.
I finished one week (7 days in a row) of Oxycise, and weighed this morning and I was down 1.5 pounds without changing my eating at all. Just think what could happen if I could control my eating!
I too joined the gym. A new Golds Gym is comming this fall to our area. In the mean time we have a mini gym to workout in. I worked out for 45 min on various machines, did not want to overdue my 1 st visit, and end up sore the next day. I may not want to go back if that was the case. Trainer told me to start slowly! I'm going back again tommorrow. Promised myself a min of 3 times a week.
oh ditzy... i'm so proud of you!!!! and glad to hear that you're working with a trainer. they really do help. they encourage us, keep us challenged, and keep us from hurting ourselves.
POWER WOMAN!!!!!!
as for me... another two mile walk today. still feeling a bit under the weather, but getting better every day. saw the pulmonologist today who said that i'm coming along nicely, but may need a followup x ray in about a month.
At work, where else would we be? Jiff can you call up that AWL sister of yours and tell/ask (which ever works best0 to see if she can find out what is going on with Debkay? I'm really beginning to worry.
Oh yeah, forgot the name of this thread: Exercise, worked with trainer 1 hour then did 1 hour water class.
Back to the Gym tonight. 20 min on the tread mill, 10 min on the bike and then 45 min. on all types of machines, for the abs, arms. legs ect. Only did about 25 reps of each one. Got to get the body used to this! It sure was not me, a year ago. I would not ever entered a gym, because I felt everyone was looking at the fat lady.
but I am not "fat" anymore (down 80 lbs as of today! ) just pleasantly plump!
