No, you do not have to exercise to lose weight. If you stick to a ketogenic diet and cut out all carbohydrates, you will lose weight with certainty because the glucose in your body will get used up over time and if you do not add any glucose back in for further storage, your subcutaneous fat storage will be depleted. This is the only healthy way to lose weight.

The unhealthy way is to literally starve yourself which is also called the vegan diet or breatharianism. Both do not sustain your body and so you will certainly use weight too, but you will also grow sick because your body will lack all the vital macro and micronutrients it needs, such as amino acids or vitamin B12.

The most common cause of belly fat in male and female is from something called the fatty liver disease which has become widespread all over the world ever since the US rose to the status of super power. You will see impoverished Africans with this problem and with big 'beer' bellies, just like you will see people from rich countries with the exact same problem because they all eat the same diet, they all depend on the industrial produce from the largest food provider of the globe, the US. Who fills all the packaged food with the most unhealthy form of sugar in existence right after fructose, which is the glucose fructose syrup. Diets full with corn and soy dominate the world of this century. All grown in the US and even fed to the animals, fish, cow, all the same, to grow them into obesity. If you compared for example the meat of a salmon in the wild to the meat of a salmon from a store, you would see the difference between a healthy salmon and an obese industrial salmon immediately.

When you have a beer belly, you likely suffer from the fatty liver disease, which is caused by the consumption of enormous amounts of fructose. It is not as visible a fat disease as if you are overweight from subcutaneous fat, anyone can have it even if they are thin, but it is equally if not far more deadly because you are overweight not on the surface of your body, but one of your most vital organs, the liver, is overweight and prone to form gases, rupture and put pressure on other organs and eventually ends up in complete failure.

Do not consume fruit juices, alcohols, fruit yoghurts, fruit dressings or candies with fructose syrup in it. One of the few useful information you do find on labels is if fructose syrup or fructose-glucose syrup is in it.

A less common cause for such bellies are the gases produced by the gut when the carnivore in question, in this case a human, has stopped producing the enzyme lactase to break down the lactose. I would try to avoid milk based products to see if that is the case and otherwise steer clear of plant based foods.

The reason you will see many people suggest the faulty 'move more' or 'go exercise' is because the government does not want people to lose weight or be healthy or take blame and responsibility and so they push all blame on you and put into your hands what is actually in theirs. The industrial infrastructure of the government produces all the food that you have available in your store and they set the prices. You don't set the prices, you don't produce the food or get transparency or a say of what is put in the food.
And the people do not know any better. They just repeat what they read somewhere on Google or what they once heard in the media. Why do you think the internet infrastructure was built? Such a massive network infrastructure to connect the whole world. All to monitor people, hand them the information that suits the government, and conversely hide the useful information. You will find that the web is not some fantastic place of free speech where people can connect with one another, but a government run network where every domain is closely being watched, the sites crawled, info collected into 'big data' for profiling people and especially all those sites where user input is allowed, such as on forums or social media sites, the government has not only the 'useful idiots' who just don't know any better and echo what they hear but also federal agents who will quickly jump out of the woodworks at any time such info as this is posted to either throw ad hominem at them or point fingers with claims about paranoia or insanity. The government creates these problems, like obesity. And they know that it's their industrial technology that causes it. But they will never make changes to your benefit. You becoming sick is part of the design plan. You will be visiting doctors more often, their government doctors with the government titles. You will seek them to drain fat from your body, you will end up in their hospitals. It's one big circle of people in authority positions that will pass you around like just another piece of machinery with an id number on it, giving you false reasons for why you are sick, always point the finger away from the government and the industrial system. Anything can be at fault, a political faction, your parents, your own life choices, maybe your dog gave you the disease or a virus, everything, just not them.

Default Balanced and Flexible Approach to Portion Control and Healthy Eating

That sounds like a great approach to portion control. Measuring portions based on the size of one's hand is an easy and accessible method, as everyone has a unique hand size. It also helps to ensure that each individual is getting the appropriate amount of each food group for their specific needs.

It's important to note that the recommended daily intake may vary based on factors such as age, gender, and physical activity level, but this serves as a good starting point for those looking to maintain a healthy and balanced diet.

Additionally, it's great that the plan allows for some flexibility, such as the option to have skimmed or semi-skimmed milk or low-calorie yogurt. This helps to make the diet sustainable and enjoyable for the participants.

Overall, it seems like a well-rounded approach to healthy eating and portion control.

Thumbs up lose belly

Losing belly fat involves a combination of a healthy diet, regular exercise, and lifestyle changes. Focus on consuming more protein, fiber, and healthy fats while reducing your intake of processed foods and sugar. Incorporate cardio and strength training exercises into your routine and aim to get enough sleep and manage stress levels. Consistency and patience are key to achieving sustainable results.
