This morning the scal said that i'm up 1.5 lbs back to 161, OHHHH and to top of that joyous occasion I wake up with another surprise! My TOM reared it's ugly head. Hopefully thats what caused the weight gain while i slept, ah who know. I'll weigh myself later to see if it's just water weight.
  • Hey girls. I don't know why I have such a problem losing weight. I eat okay and I exercise most days. I think I need to step it up a notch with exercise. That should help a little bit. Pop thing is going okay, as well as the vending machine. The vending machine thing is too easy though...so I decided I wanted to challenge myself with no snacking after school (got the idea from someone above). So we'll see if this works.
  • hey i decided to post soe before and after pictures of me in the mini goals section if any of you want to take a look. The first pic i was 180 and the second was taken today and i'm 159-160. Hope you all are doing good, i still haven't dranken any alochol, go me!

  • I am going to join the challenge. I vow to eliminate those nasty carbs that I love so much, crackers. I also vow to walk at least 1/2 mile per day. (Due to 2 abdominal hernia repair surgeries this year, 1/2 is not alot for me, but its alot for my abs, if you know what I mean
    I am up for this challenge!

  • I haven't weighed in lately, at last check, I had lost ONE pound....not too bad. But I also haven't had any coffee or cream!!! It's too funny, at work, I'm the one who always makes the new pot and it just beckons me, all full and fresh and aromatic....but lately, I've been to busy at work to stop and drink it anyways. Been to the gym three days this week and think I can go again today, after I take DS to bumper bowling...it is too funny to watch. OMG I just heard this week that MY trainer at the gym is LEAVING! Kinda broke my heart!

    The alcohol thing....haven't had a drink yet....but haven't been to my bowling league, which is tonight! (I worked through last weeks) So TONIGHT will be my true test!

    You guys are doing AWESOME! Keep it up!
  • My weight is still the same, I can't believe how fast you all lose weight, it can take me weeks just to drop a pound. I am eating so much less than I used to and eat hardly any junk food at all anymore. I walk at least 200 minutes a week and still it takes a minor miracle for me to lose a pound. Maybe I need to up the exercise but with how little I am eating now I can really see maintenance being a problem. Anyway no snacking on Halloween candy since my binge last weekend. and I have been sick this week so my calories have been really low but still no weight loss.

  • I too can't believe how fast some of you lose weight. You've all almost hit your goals for Halloween after only one week, and I'm still trying to lose a measly pound! Ugh...it can get a little frustrating.

    My challenges are going okay. I've had pop the last two days now. Gotta get back on track with that. Maybe on weekends for a while I'll treat myself to one or two (8-oz. cans)? I dunno, we'll see. Snacking after school, well, it's the weekend so there's no school, but I'm still trying to limit snacking. That's going good cuz I'm so busy with other stuff I don't even think about snacking.

  • Well, I've got 1 pound to go. I lost 4 last week. Like someone said, I'm sure it's partly water weight, but I'll still take it!



    Oh, and I've stuck to my guns... I haven't bought any Halloween candy. Yay!

  • i actually am back up to 163.5. I'm hoping it's my period because i went from 159 to 163.5 over night, ahhh
  • hello everyone sorry i wasnt here sooner. having computer trouble it seems. all better now. anyways i wouldnt get to hard on yourself at my TOM i always seem to show 2 to 4lbs higher on the scale its sad really then at the end i seem to drop from 4 to 6 depending on what i showed a gain. Like last month i showed 179 and got period and went to 182 but after period i droped to 177 afterwards. so it really is probably just bloating and water weight. although its depressing to see it up there and go up instead of down or not move it will move again. i am puffy now and im sure ill start now that i started this challenge so ill get frustrated and have to wait to see a difference til the end of the challenge lol.   • I also have just 1lb left-but now's the time the Halloween treats start to be everywhere, so I sure hope I can hold on! I've done really well with not eating any of my kids food-and I really think that's making all the difference-I wish I'd realized sooner how much and often I was sneaking bites of there's while cooking and clearing the table!!Good luck all!
  • I'm really happy, it was just peroid/water weight. This morning i'm down to 158.5lbs!!!!!
  • That's great, Amber! I hate TOM. Between cravings and water weight, I'm just miserable for about a week and a half out of every month. *sigh*
