well thats good lol I'm kinda hoping to lose more than 5, i had a goal to be down to at least 150 by halloween, but i have been stuck at 162lbs. I have eaten VERY good today though so i'm hoping to be 161 in the morning.
Me too, me too, me too! But, one twist, I'm not going to give up something specific, instead, I'm going to commit to MORE EXERCISE, since that seems to be my weakness. So, I hereby commit to 5 lbs off by Halloween, and a firmer butt! LOL
Well, I had some pop today....but after I took a few sips I threw the rest away. I wish I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place, but at least I took the bad and turned it into something a little positive by throwing most of it away. Vending machine thing is going good. I just finished an awesome 45-minute workout! I'm excited...I can feel the pounds melting off already!

i definatley would like to do this! i haven't been on this site in months (haven't posted anyway) and i would definatley like to jumpstart my weightloss. so, im gonna take on the "5 lbs by halloween" challenge. and, i think im gonna give up candy...that'll be a good start of some of the crap i need to get out of my diet. i look forward to getting know everyone
Wahoo i just weighed myself (normaly just do this in the morning, but i had nothing better to do) and i lost like 2.5lbs since this morning lol I was 162.5 yesterday (which i have been pretty much stuck at for the last week), then i woke up and was 163.5 (grrrr) and now it's 7:30pm and i'm 161.0!!!!! Yipee I'm pretty proud of myself, i haven't seen that weight in a couple years lol!
I totally binged on mini chocolate bars yesterday. But I gave all the rest to my friend and her daughter to take home and have not had any today. I will not be buying anymore. As for weight loss, I just bouce around between 208 and 203 right now, so as long as I don't go higher than 208 I'm not too worried.
I am in for 5 lbs by Halloween. I have taken a diet hiatus for most of the summer and lost and gained the same 5 lbs or so the entire time. Today I renewed my gym membership, dropped off the kids in the gym daycare and spent 40 minutes doing cardio.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I have such a hard time getting motivated to do things in the gym. I can easily swim a mile in the lake, cross country ski all morning, or take the kids hiking for a few hours. But put me in the gym and I watch the clock like a high school kid flipping burgers on the friday night shift - I can't wait to get out of there.
I'd love to join in on this challenge-it'll be my first challenge-hope it proves to be a success-i want to give up nibbling on my kids lunch(they eat a different one than me,and i get tempted to sneak a "few" bites of KD or Chef ) and their after dinner "treats".
i know i am late but would lose to do the challenge and lose 5 pounds, i think i can do it. i will try to exercise and eat small portions. i think i can do it. is it allright if i can still join? i am 180 right now, hope to go to 175, lets see!
I was wearing clothes this morning when i weighed myself (i never wear clothes when i weigh myself and i just forgot to take them off i guess lol) and it said 161.0 Well i decided to weigh myself before taking a shower because of that and I was very happy to see 159.5!!!!!!! I broke through the 160 barrier, i'm sooo happy i haven't weighed this much in almost 2 years!!!!!! I'm REALLY happy lol
Soooo I have lost 3lbs since Monday and i hope to lose alot more. Remember i'll post a pic of my scale to prove my weight loss lol
Im in. I've already beat my halloween goal(7lbs). So I'll go for another five. Im going to cut out after school food. I eat so much after school and Im not even hungry. So no after school junk.
