STOP!!! First it's the little innocent things like Sonic...then it's Taco Bell....then Burger King. Before you know it, you will be on the show INTERVENTION.
Just get a grip on yourself. Sonic is not the answer.

Ok, put down the keys very slowly.............
What do you really want??? I know you say Sonic is what your craving. But remember your goals...............
Remember what you want in the end......... Is having a Sonic going to get you there???????? Most assuredly not.
Go for a walk.....
Get a snack, low calorie.........
Do you have things in the house that are diet friendly???????
Drink a glass of water...............
Just tell yourself that that Blast is just defeating my purpose........
Anyway, hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!

Yummm, Sonic, don't slip in the drool I'm leaving behind. I'm very lucky that we don't have any close by me.

but it is a slippery slope, start with one little treat and then next week it's another then the treats are a little closer together then you aren't losing anything at all.

What is a blast? Is it one of those frozen slurpee type things? If you have a blender you could make one that fits in your plan.

If you resist today you'll feel so much better tonight, like you've accomplished something... at least that's what happens with me.

Sometimes, I just put it off, and tell myself if I still want it when I go home, I'll stop and pick it up or in a couple hours. Usually I forget about it until the next day.

Sending a bunch of will power to stop.

Well I don't know what a Blast is. But I think it is okay to allow yourself a treat once and a while AS LONG AS you stay within your calories or whatever your diet is for the day. If I really want something, I have it and eat ligher on something else.

The truth of that matter is, this is a life time change, you can't be perfect 100% of the time. This is for the rest of your life.

Good for you Azul on avoiding temptation! I think (for me) cravings like this come up and I think "that DQ blizzard will make me feel better/happy." I don't think I'm really thinking it, but I'm craving comfort, or appreciation, or something to do, or trying to get my mind off something else. Ice cream is tasty but it does not solve problems and I always regret it after I eat it. Good for you in staying home Azul, start doing some stretching or some exercise and you'll feel even better and I'll bet you lose the craving then too!

Oh, definatetly not the wisest choice...hmmm I wonder what a good substitute would be...those things have a ton of calories

I just checked the website Reeces sonic blast regular has 658 calories, 58 g of sugar and 30 g of fat. the large has 963 calories, 85 g of sugar and 45 g of fat.

For the small one:
That's roughly 2.35 hours of walking 3mph
1.3 hours of aerobics
1.46 hours of Bicycling, moderate
1.3 hours of Jogging, 5mph
http://www.annecollins.com/weight_lo...s/calories.htm

Aren't you glad you decided not to?

Elizabeth, I love your quote. I also like this one
"If you cheat on your diet then you cheat on yourself"

I want to lose the weight more than I want the blast. I just had to have your guys help me with understanding that
