WILMA- We had enogh candy for 100-- my son had 6 kids show up! My house is on a corner with a retirement area to my left-- they don't hand out candy-- so the kids just don't bother to cross the street to get what we have sometimes-- you just never know-- I have been here for 24 years and have had 0-75 kids on any given Halloween-- hard to figure the candy! I hope you are well and back to your exercises at Curves by now. Keep those boys out of the candy-- what do you mean it's too late
SUNNYD Happy late birthday for your mom!! She is the same age as mine. They cancelled all the football games in our county for the bad air from the fires. My alma mater had their homecoming dance and game postponed. With about 20 high schools in our immediate area you really have to plan for dinner reservations etc-- for the big dances like homecoming and prom. My step-daughter had her homecoming last week so she was OK but my niece goes to my alma mater so she will have to wait awhile now. Did you and Joe finish the yard work for winter?
ANGEL Did those grandkids eat you out of house and home on the candy for Halloween? How are things in Iraq for your sil. Prayers for the rebuilding process in your home and Iraq.
SAMI- Sorry about the pain inyour legs and hip-- I have hip pain from work every now and then and just hate it. I am sure the cold does not help, as you say, either-- chili weather!! Around here the kids are always saying "NOT CHILI AGAIN! dad!" It is a good thing to be sick of being sick and tired (especially if you can change some of it!) It is a slow process- do not give up--EVER!! How old is Molli going to be? Ron turned 13 but with the fires and school out we just had family over for ice cream and cake-- it was nice- the main thing for Ron was the loot

Good luck with the coming week and the success you are going to expierience-- don't be a snob
JUDY I hear you on the frustration in the public schools and TV-- I just finished an article on I LOVE LUCY-- they couldn't even say pregnant on TV in the 50's (which is an extreme also) Lucy got hate mail for being pregnant on TV-- boy have things changed-- and not always for the good.
I think we need to be tolerant of the same sex marriage and alternative lifestyle as Christians-- but of course disagree with it! The same with freedom of choice for people-- as a Christian we have to be in a position to voice without turning people away- otherwise they won't hear our message.
I think speration of church and state is a good thing-- I don't want my children being taught what I mentioned above, however, I do not want them being taught about Christ by someone that isn't a christian either. There are many that claim to be christians that aren't according to the bible. It is a difficult situation. My kids are in college now, they were in christian school until 8th grade and have always been in church-- my daughter is even in a christian college-- but the things they say are being taught in some of their classes are not from Christ-- my daughter is amazed that a few of her proff's are able to teach there. You just need to give them that foundation at home that's for sure.
SUE- How is the weather in NY-- brrrr. Hope you had a few days of rest before getting back to work--or were you doing another double shift!! Hope all is well.
Well gotta head off to the recliner before angie thinks of something for me to do!!
IN CHRIST-Gary
