Good night! Went for two power walks today. Ran errands both times. My fitness goals for today have been attained. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😁☃️😷🍾❤️🎊🎉
I watched some drone light shows on YouTube...They are getting more and more elaborate.
Yesterday, I biked and I did my exercises. I don't like doing stair stepping, but I do it anyway. I know that I am getting stronger... Diet was okay yesterday. I had a few oreos. I had a small cup of wassail.
It is cold out. I need to clean out my car...as soon as it gets light out.
Right now we are having wind gusts 60+ mph. Not sure about walking outside today. Hopefully it will calm down soon.
Steps from yesterday: 10,005
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week!

1 Thessalonians 4:7
For God hath not called us unto uncleaness, but unto holiness.
When we try to figure out what it means to be holy, we think of many things that we do which we shouldn't. Our minds fill with 'thou shalt nots' and we promise ourselves that we will do better. Our minds should not be so filled by the bad things we have done; we should focus on the good things we can do. Certainly, dieting requires sacrifice, but the benefits involved far outweigh the costs. Our focus must be on what we receive rather than what we must do without. Dieting is not turning from what we shouldn't do. Dieting is doing what God calls us to do.
Today's thought: God will not leave us when we respond to His call!
Good afternoon! Took the bus to a nearby community to power walk and run errands there. Got home a little over an hour ago. Will have lunch in a few minutes. Did 2 miles Leslie Sansone this morning. 😁☃️😷❤️🎊🎉🌲🍾
Good evening to everyone!
Well I got brave and drove my little car to the store. Once I get out of my neighborhood I am fine, but it still 4-5 blocks of nail biting snow/slush.
WI still a sad state of affairs <sigh>
WO yeah worked out at home now that DH has gone back to work. I will work out again tomorrow from home. It is just too nasty out to drive early in the am
Diana stay safe indoors with those winds!
Well I can hear the chocolate witch screaming at me from her hiding place in the garage. Guess I better go see what she wants
Rachel: I played ball with my cats the past 2 days. With my past 2 cats, they fetched the balls. With these 2 cats, I fetch the balls... Pretty smart cats...
I biked and did my exercises today. Diet was a bit of a problem: a half an Arby's, some Oreos's and some Wassail (no alcohol). Fat, salt, and sugar can really add up, especially when I do not keep track.
I cleaned up my car some. It was cold outside. I wish that I had done it last week... I also picked some parsley that was under a sheet.
Teri, Yeah, most cats do not make very good fetchers . Guess you are getting a workout in with you doing the fetching!
I took in 1345 calories yesterday. Didn't get to exercise.
Today's Plan: 1200 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., situps, stretching, recumbant bike, chest press and maybe some other arm weights.
Good morning from a very frigid New hamphire, 4 degrees when I got up an hour ago.
I was away for 2 weeks for the holidays and just got back yesterday. I brought my keto snacks and foods with me as well as my Atkins cookbook. Christmas eve traditional Italian dinner was pasta, i allowed myself a half a cup and focused on conversation. NYE we opened a bottle of white wine, and again on NY but, other than that I was 100% on track. I couldn't weigh in and I neglected to track my food. I got home yesterday afternoon and checked my ketones with a test strip. I was the darkest purple I have seen since I started. I will get on the scale today and get back to tracking my food.
I bought myself a recumbent bike. A relative who has had one knee replacement got one and he does 45-60 minutes a day, his other bad knee is pain free. So I am hoping for similar results. Delivered yesterday by UPS; instead of leaving by the door, it was 25 feet away leaning on garage. Took me half an hour to walk it to the house and up the steps into the spare bedroom. Today I will get it assembled as soon as I get the ambition.
I have meals planned for the week and shopped for them yesterday. I found a company that makes ZERO carb bread and other items so I ordered 6 loaves, I will freeze 5. I know my plan needs to be long term and sustainable.
Terri-funny about your cats, years ago I had one that would fetch those round cardboard beer coasters.
