Good morning

Teri, your swimming is awesome!! I admire that so much!!!

I slept here at home last night. Got some needed sleep. Dad is able to walk some on his fractured pelvis. Will be going back over there soon. The last two days, my diet has NOT been good. Need to get back on track.....

Hi Everyone!

Monday we are going out of town for a short trip. We are going to Ocean Isle Beach, NC. It's about 2 hours away from us and about 30 minutes past Myrtle Beach. We will be back home on Friday. The hotel has an indoor as well as outdoor pool. Unfortunately, they are closing the indoor pool this week for renovations. We have never been to or even heard of this area, although we drive by it when we go to Atlantic Beach, NC.

Good evening! Diana, enjoy your trip! Had a busy day here. Got everything I needed to do done. Went for three power walks today. This included to and home from church. Had supper a half an hour after I got home. 😁🍀😷❤️

Good morning

Ciecie, way to go on your three power walks yesterday :).

Diana, how fun that you will go on your trip on Monday!

I took in 1250 calories yesterday. No treadmill, but a lot of walking around getting things done. In between caring for my parents, I plan to play scrabble this afternoon with my cousin!! Looking forward to that. Haven't done that for awhile.

Today's Plan: 1200 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., maybe treadmill.

Good Morning, Everyone! https://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/ima...iles/wavey.gif

I had an interesting epiphany yesterday. I am still thinking about things and will share when I have time. Still learning, Did that peak anyone's interest?

Steps for yesterday: 12,807

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

September 19

Job 11:15
For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear.

What a marvelous feeling, being able to stand up in front of the diet group and tell them she had lost forty-four pounds! Marcie never thought she'd see the day. She remembered all the times when, with great embarrassment, she had to confess that she was not even close to her goal. Those days were behind her. All the doubts and guilt were over. The groups had been a great help, too, as God had been. Her faith was a large reason that she was able to stay with it as well as she did. Praise God, everything worked out. She held her head high and shared her great news with the group that had helped her so much.

Today's thought: Doubting never helps get things done!

Good morning to all my lovely chickies!
WI still bouncing with this stubborn 1lb....oh well
WO again nothing formal, I am getting my steps in

Working the fair hours is a bit brutal for me. I am not a night person so working until 'close' is rough. It has been fun and meeting all kinds of folks, who for the most part are kind, friendly and excited to be at the fair. Of course there are always those who see the world differently.

The past two days it has been raining so it is not any fun to walk the fair grounds and look around. I have seen all there is with the covered vendors, all the farm animals etc. The only place I truly have avoided is the 'kiddie rides' in the area they call 'Smallville'. I work today (of course) and Monday then get Tue off work Wed, Thur off then work through Sunday which is the last day of the fair. I am really not sure if I will do this again next year. The crew members that I work with are fun for the most part, but all these strong personalities can be challenging LOL

I will check beck in on my day off but will continue to lurk and read the posts as I can

Good afternoon! Went for two power walks today. This includes to and home from lunch. Hung up and took down the laundry I did yesterday. Smelled so good when I took it down. 😁❤️😷🍀

Hi!

Diana: Have a fun vacation. I look forward to hearing about your epiphany,,,
Nancy: Glad you are having fun at the fair...
Rachel: Hang in there...

This past week, I swam 50 minutes 5 days. And it included some backstroke and freestyle. Once I did backstroke for 20 minutes...so I think I am progressing. Next to no exercise this weekend...just a little weeding. Monday will be a new workout week for me. Oh, I am back putting spices in my drinks. I did it in hot cider in the past, but presently I am watering down some blueberry juice and adding a little spice.

I am feeling really hungry. I just ate cheese egg white sandwich. I am still hungry...

Good evening! Went for a third power walk this afternoon. Ran errands, too. Will have supper in a few minutes. Watching Doctor Zhivago on TCM. My fitness goals for today have been attained. 😁❤️😷🍀

Good evening all!

Crazy week, I've volunteered for some new tasks, so it's been a lot of time in the evening handling the learning curve(s).
I haven't weighed in. Last I checked, I was the same. Which is better than gaining. DH stopped bringing home snacks for the most part and that is really helping.
Had family game night tonight and made roasted salt & pepper edamame, instead of chips. Surprisingly, they were a hit with everyone! Win!

Rachel1234 09-20-2021 07:08 AM

Good morning

AuspiciousOtter,

Teri, you are so amazing with your swimming.

Well, yesterday I did well on diet and exercise. Did treadmill and some more walking related to chores. My hip is recovering well! So nice to be able to do a bit of the treadmill again; I wasn't able to do it before my surgery!! Played scrabble.

Today's Plan: 1200 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., maybe some arm weights.
