1 Corinthians 9:24
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Todd wasn't getting anywhere with his diet. It was on and off, at best. He just couldn't stick to it. He'd never been good at discipline and conditioning. How many times had he been kicked off high school teams for not practicing? He just didn't have the killer instinct. He didn't want to win badly enough. We'll have difficulty losing weight if our heart isn't really in it. If we're going to run the race for weight loss, then we need to be serious about winning it. Pray that God will strengthen both your heart and body, so that when the race is finished, you'll receive the prize.

Today's thought: Help me remember that I'm not just running away from fat, but that I'm running toward God's design of who I should be!

Good Morning!

We have 8 inches of snow here. The neighbor came over and did some snow blowing. There is still a lot to do. I am so glad I went grocery shopping before the snow came...

Nancy: I am using one of those salad kits (oriental) with greens/slaw mix and salad dressing and sliced almonds and crunchies. You can get these at Aldis or Sam's Club for a couple of bucks.//Enjoy your family.

I guess you know what kind of exercise I will be doing today!

I bought some six million year old Himalayan pink salt for my salt grinder.
Just my luck it expires in two years.

I have been on a plateau for a while. That is at least better than gaining

Good evening! Took the bus to a neighboring community to power walk and run errands there. Went to my optician and tried some frames. Will be getting two pairs of glasses. The optician will call when they’re done. Ran other errands after I was done there. Went to Panera for lunch. Ran more errands after lunch. Will run one more errand in a few minutes. 🤶😁🎅🏻❤️🌲

Matthew 6:21
'For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.'

Grady thought he was pretty smart, hiding the chocolate bars beside his bed. He would do well on his diet during the day, but at night he would go wild eating chocolate. Every day he would talk a good game, saying how much he really wanted to be thinner, but when the lights went out at night, he would undo all his fine talk by sneaky, fattening action. When he was caught, Grady merely shrugged it off, saying he wouldn't do it again. The next night, Grady fell asleep with chocolate thick on his breath. Actions often do speak louder than words. Where our treasure is-that is, what's really important to us-there will our hearts and actions be, also.

Today's thought: Make my diet important enough to me to keep me from temptation!

Good afternoon to all!
WI down a bit 163.0
WO non today unless you count making a family meal for 6. Yep sister and spouse and one brother, one mom and DH LOL. Tomorrow a repeat of today expect with other brother. But love it

Shopping yesterday was pretty fun, of course the mall was not crowded on a weekday morning. However I found it a bit off putting that they had removed all chairs from the center of the mall, food court is closed and so where the restrooms. Needless to say we only spent a few hours there. Oh and dressing rooms are all closed except in Nordstroms intimate department. Of course everyone was masked up and kept their distance

I will check back in later
