11/30/2015 6 grams carbs and 926 calories

I bought new shorts today with a 2" smaller waist and they fit perfect.

I am now almost ready to change from a large shirt size to a medium size.
Not bad for a guy that was wearing tight 3XL size shirts when I started this Atkins Induction on April 19th of this year.

Diana thank you for the new month Reminds me that I have to get started making my christmas gifts. asap or sooner.

GoodyFay I am sorry. That was so insensitive of me. I just looked at what date you first posted. Seems you may have to wait until around the 11th of Dec to PM and get the ticker. I will tell you here instead of pm. I buy PB2 which is practially fat free. Then I get dark toasted sesame oil. I add a bit of that to give it that great nutty flavor. Good flavor and much less fat. Not all toasted sesame oil is created equal. Some taste burned. Others just not pleasing. I really like a brand called Kayoda. I get it at the asian market. But I bet it can be found at a lot of other places. Its very well known. There

Penny, i think dieting during the holidays is awesome. I have done it in the past. Rather well, actually. If you can do it, then thats awesome. I get your point about needing to set those serious limits for yourself. That's what I did. It actually made life much easier.

Larry great news about the shorts. I am not at all surprised though. You are a weight loss ninja !!

I succumbed today. Best to not talk about it. I had about 1700 calories But I am not having the cocoa powder anymore. Just a bit of black cocoa powder in with my coffee. And that stuff is way too potent to use much of. The Bensdorp Holland Glory was reduced to only once a week when I went to the co-op. And now it is entirely gone. I now have only 20-30 calories of black cocoa a day.

Hello all,

It's late, but I'm posting! Thank you Diana for the new thread.

Today's eating:

B - black coffee
L - homemade chicken soup, no noodles
S - organic apple with peanut butter (about 1TBSP)
D - pasta w/ roasted asparagus & broccoli w/ pesto
S - ham rollups / 2 thin slices sharp cheddar / 3 almonds
Also - several handfuls of "junk" (which I should not have in my house)

Workout was body weight only - jumping jacks, lunges, pushups, planks, full situps - 3 circuits

Everyone have a great week!

New thread! I figure I'll stay in this thread. It seems like a nice place to chat.

meal one: protein shake
meal two: large bowl cabbage soup
meal three: one tic tac
meal four: small bowl cabbage soup

I didn't realize I had a doctor's appointment today at 3, I've been up since 9 pm because my medicine is making me sleep a lot. When I get on that scale, it'll show me at 132 I bet from this cabbage soup diet. Usually when I get weighed I won't eat for the whole day, but I didn't realize the appointment was today and ended up eating anyways. What can ya do though! I have plans on friday so staying up until this appointment will fix my schedule at least a little bit.

Hi Guys, I'm back after a few months!

OK, had WAY too much Holiday!! Drove my DD back to school, so of course had road and restaurant food!!

Going to get eggs, salad/spinach and meat. Stay away from sugars, carbs, dairy. Going out will revisit our local juice bar.

Here we go again!!

Talking

I'm baaaaaack! AMAZING trip! I'm sure I put on a few pounds from all the food and booze this time.

Anyway, I went to the gym last night after about a week and a half off so now I'm working my way back into beast mode. Now I have 353 days to work on my bikini body again.

Let's make this a great month/year!

Hello everyone and hello December!
WT: 178.4

Just a quick one (maybe). Started off on plan, salads and protein for B and L and then met up with DH for dinner and mildly fell apart....let's just say there was a pepperoni pizza appetizer....didn't go too crazy but didn't help the cause either. Taking a break from counting today and just eating as "clean" as possible. My brain needs a day off from stucture.

FLOWER- THANK YOU THANK YOU! I love sesame oil too! THANK YOU! That was my (questionable) sense of humor when I singled you out, please excuse me! My thoughts don't translate too well on keyboard sometimes. You seem like somebody who is very caring - not insesitive at all!

DIANA - Thank you for this thread!

LARRY- Your progress is amazing! Congratulations on the smaller shorts!

Hi everyone else!!!
I wish everyone strength during the upcoming festive season! Yay December!

Weight today: 142.6
Calories today: 1290
Exercise Time: 40 minutes
Total Loss for December: 3 pounds!

I know a loss is a loss but going from 7-8 lbs a month to 3 lbs is hard to accept. But my main goal for December is to end it in the 130's. I think that is doable..I will not set anything unattainable for the month especially with Christmas right around the corner and the dinners and such that comes with it. I will ENJOY Christmas just like I did Thanksgiving and deal with the consequences. Right now I am .8 lbs over my pre-Thanksgiving weight. I also made another promise to myself. I have seriously been lacking when it comes to my exercising..I have my tredmill and I try to get 1-2 miles in per day on it...but as far as walking on my lunch it hasn't been happen. I told myself today that if it is 48 or above outside I WILL walk. That I will do..Guess what? The 10 day forecast is 48 degrees and above! So hopefully I can stick to it.

My cravings are starting to diminish a little bit...I was told today that caffeine can increase a ton of bad cravings..anyone heard of this? If that is the case I'm thinking my morning coffee could be adding on to my cravings.

Personals:
Larry: Yay for 2'' smaller waist size and an almost M shirt! What an accomplishment!

flower123: Tomorrow is a new day!

Lemondrop01: Sounds like an awesome workout!

haebane: I see that me and you have a similar start weight...I am at 142.6 right now..I was losing 7-8 lbs a month steadily...and now it's decreased all the way to 3 lbs for the month of November...I have had a few screw up days...but did yours slow down this much once you started hitting 130-140??

Hello to the rest of ya'll!!

Hope everyone has a relaxing Tuesday night! TTYL

Hi Everyone!

Larry Congrats on the smaller sizes!

Flower Are there any other sources to purchase the cocoa? Maybe online or has the business closed?

Lemondrop Do you like zucchini? I have made zucchini noodles (zoodles) for soup. It works well for me.

Haebane I hope your appointment went well.

Kelijpa I like routine and I was glad to get back to my "normal" too. I hope your day was a good one.

Inkrid Welcome back. Good to see you.

Novangel Welcome back! I'm glad your trip was amazing! Have you already started planning your next trip?

CoolMom Did you smoke the salmon?

Goodyfay Sounds like you worked on moderation today. That's a good thing.

Merowi2 I'm sure you have some water weight hanging on. Good luck with your goal.

Nicholsfamily For me, I don't think caffeine makes me crave anything. Actually, I could drink a large cup or two in place of a meal and probably be fine. You may be different though.

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening!

Happy December, everyone!

B- pumpkin oatmeal
L- steamed carrots and green beans in tomato sauce with chopped meatballs
D- diced ham on a big salad with lite ranch dressing
S- an apple
D- 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1 piece dark chocolate

Diana: Thanks for making the new thread!

Flower: Those serious limits save me most of the time. They only backfire when I stop being flexible with things... or when I get too flexible.
I'm sorry you're out of your Bensdorp Holland Glory. Can you get it online, maybe?

Nicholsfamily: Big cravings always suck. I'm glad they're starting to go away! As for the caffiene, I used to find that it actually helped curb my appetite and cravings. I don't drink caffiene anymore, though (unrelated reasons).
