Flower See's is a candy store, I think primarily out west, I worked at one in California years ago. See pic below, if can get it attached re: your edit...

Midnight hi, we're trying for 7 days, so far so good, they say after day 3 it gets easier, seems to be true, I am looking forward to eating a big salad of all things. Last night I had a crazy dream, it was a big party of some sort, the real crazy part was a guy fell asleep in a dish of pizza, it was funny.

Diana

Larry thanks for clarifying about your anemia, I was wondering, occasionally I've been iron deficient, when I was younger I had to take prescription vitamins, now I just have to watch what I eat. Glad to hear your doctors are saying it is treatable, that's good news.

Wow, a ton of updates came in after I posted
Hope everyone has a great day and happy new year!

Good Morning, Everyone! wave:

So far this morning: 30 minute outdoor walk w/Cody

So when a sign says "careful zipline crossing" is that the same thing as "watch for falling objects from the sky"?

The zipliners were having a blast this morning but I was very careful.

I am eyeing a group fitness class for this afternoon while DH watches the Clemson football game.

Have a great day!

mornin'

I was nearly ending the day yesterday at 1000 cals but then had more soup and ice cream with the homemade chocolate sauce I made for hubby's coffees. He is liking a mocha recipe and fine with buying store bought syrup. Silly guy. But I fell off the wagon again.

159 after 1790 calories yesterday. That is a whole pound down from January 1st 2015! Woot!

B egg on toast, coffee
L/D navy bean soup.

Some friends and I are talking about signing up for and training for the Seattle to Portland bike ride in July. That is 2 days, 100 miles each day, if we can get registered before it sells out. It would certainly get me motivated to do the training rides, but that is a scary distance for me.

We'll see. my new bike should make it easier but it is not here yet.

Come on, Tootsie. You got this! Tell us about yourself. what's your weightloss plans? I'm a calorie counter, using the Lose It app. A later app came out, called My Fitness pal, everyone seems to love. Inching my way to goal ever so slowly. 1 pound in 2015.

Hi Everyone!

The afternoon group fitness classes were cancelled. Since I was already at the big gym, I did 45 minutes on the cardio equipment. Tomorrow we will be heading home. It will be nice to get home but gosh I hate the unpacking and trying to put it all up. The good and bad about traveling right?

DH is watching the Clemson game right now. We have reservations at the hotel restaurant for dinner. We didn't want to get on the road with all the celebrations that will be going on.

Have a wonderful evening. Have fun but stay safe. Getting ready to have a nice cup of decaf while DH watches TV. I really need to figure out a way to retire.

Hi Everybody.
Sundove, I tune in a Richard Simmons oldies exercise tape on Youtube, but dance my own way and monitor my "steps" on Fitbit. I love seeing that counter go crazy! I haven't danced in years, but now I do a combo of dancing interspersed with exercise moves from other workout tapes. It's mostly Motown and disco but will probably listen to the radio too for more current stuff. I'd forgotten just how much fun and what good exercise dancing is. DH has joined in a little the last 2 days. It's been good because it's been too rainy to run. I think you're on to something with the chemical signaling.
Penny, Tell us more about the chili with peanut butter in it! Never heard of that combo.
GoodyFay, how did the ultrasound come out? We're going to our favorite Chinese restaurant tomorrow and before we leave will get more hot and sour to take home. Love that stuff.. so warming on a damp day.
Kelijpa, That's a heck of a long fast! You're gonna lose a bunch during that time. It must be a good sign that a healthy salad is what you're thinking about for when you're done. Now, the pizza dream, don't know what that meant, but at least it wasn't you sleeping in it.
Diana, zipline crossing? I can see one of them sweeping you up with them. Lots of ducking required!
CoolMom, I would have thought you were on maintenance. You're obviously looking great.

B- protein bar
L- asparagus, cherry yogurt, 2 chocolate kisses
S- baby carrots
D- zoodles with spaghetti sauce, broccoli cauliflower mix, 2 chocolate kisses
S- pistachios and glass of Asti (may have another later)
Exercise- 30 day shred tape & two 30 minute dance sessions

Wishing everyone a fantastic, healthy & happy 2016!

Happy New Year, everyone!

B- swiss and bacon omelet
L- bacon cobb salad and a clementine
D- sushi, an egg roll, and miso soup
D- a medjool date (the big ones) and 2 tbsp mixed nuts

Diana: Thank you again for doing these thread! They're so helpful and the support is amazing!

GoodyFay: I'm so glad that this thread helped! It helps me a lot, too. Even just reading what's going on with others is a big part of keeping me on track. And congrats on the 10 lb loss! See you in the new thread and the new year!

Midnight: It actually evolved out of putting half a peanut butter sandwich in the chili (also delicious), but I realized the peanut butter was good just plopped in the middle of the bowl. My friend started me on the sandwich thing, and I took it from there. Something about the peanut butter and the chili spices is so tasty!

Tootsie: Looks like you're working on navigating the site - good for you! You said you're thinking about WW. Have you tried it before?

Thank you. about WW. yeah I have tried it ALL. from WW to lapband surgery. they are right, there is no magic bullet. when I tried it MY way. ( I took all the tools I had from other diets) and put them all together I was successful. I lost 80lbs in 2 years and regained in 4. thought I had it licked. but as I discovered this is life long commitment. I won't make that mistake again.
