This power outage has totally confooseded me! I can't remember what day I'm on...but I do know that I'm back on track for eating properly! And I worked on my garden yesterday! So eating and excersizing is working...my garden is a quarter of an acre.

Congrats to everyone on tackling another day of the 21 day challenge!

Welcome Musicalgal! It doesn't matter when you start! As long as you are making the effort to start!

See you tomorrow ladies!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the congrads! I really needed that. I've been without soda for more than a month, now and then you get the temptations and cravings but i've survived, lol. The blackout was one experience I won't forget. I had to walk over 100 blocks because I couldn't catch a bus. The buses and bus stops were extremely crowded. To give you the short version I past through practically every major NYC neighborhood on foot! But what I'm proud of is that all the excercise I have been doing helped me through it, because else I would have just collapsed, lol. Now my next challenge is to eat less carbs, its hard but someone has to do it, lol.

see yah!

Default Day 4

Hello, getting through day 4...I've done my walk/jog and 50 sit-ups. Eating is going OK, especially if I stick to having just a salad tonight for dinner.
I have been remarkable at resisting ice cream. Hurray for me !
My husband will be out all day tomorrow, so I'm worried about exercise. I might have to motivate myself to do a video. Yuck. Thats going to take alot of motivation. I might take the dog out after the kids go to bed. (He'll be back by then)
Hope everyone is doing well!

Yo! This is a drive-by postie only but wanted to say to everyone who is doing so well. The convenience store down the street just got gas (we're having a gasoline crisis where I live due to a broken pipeline) and the line is snaking around the block, but I need to get some! But here's my report:

My Sprint To September 6 21-Day Challenge, Day Two Report:

1) 1700 calories or less?
Yes, 1700!

2) At least one exercise session per day? Yes. Yoga class and some light weight work for upper body only.

Default Yo! Again!

And, Sleepyangel, has also done more than a month on her sodaless state, so that's more than a block she's completed!!! Yowza!! WTG, Sleepyangel!!!

Sorry for the three in a row, guys, I'm keep forgetting things ... going to forget about gas tonight, I think! Going to bed to read!

Hotsplashie, you started August 9 and you said that made your goal August 30! (I'm not psychic, I looked on the other thread!) So I think that puts you on Day 10! Wowza!

Default Day 3, ME, ME, ME!!!

Yo, Day 3, more about ME !!! More thread hogging from Amarantha!!! Worked out at home today because of the gas shortage ... 50 minutes of jogwalking on my "hall treadmill" hindered, er, aided by my intrepid canine and feline companions, who escorted me every step o' the way!! Have decided to walk doing all errands rather than sit in a long line to get gas, so hopefully I'll burn extra calories!

21-DAY CHALLENGERS!!! LISTEN UP!!! We are fantastic!!! We are all gonna advance another day today along the way!!!! We are all gonna get around that block without delay!!! Hooray! What can I say! Guess I'll go away (now)!

Hello,
I have made it to day 8. Lamost crashed and burned yesterday due to the sheer craptasticness of it all (bad day at work), but managed to keep on track.

Wow, congrats to everyone who got through the block. Awsome.

Angry Day 3

Eydie!!!!

Congratulations on getting through your block! I'm so proud that you've done this wonderful thing for yourself!!!

On to Marvelous Me:

Day 1: Everything went well, even though it was Sunday and I can see that weekends are going to be a problem...

Day 2 (yesterday): Wowee, almost lost it at a burger joint Ramon dragged me to (yeah, right), but I cut my veggie burger in half and wrapped up half my fries for later (YES, I like them soggy!). I'm giving it to myself, even though I did eat a burger and fries (but it was a once-a-week treat) and maybe ate a little past satiety. However, I didn't blow it by a long shot, and that's what I'm really trying to avoid. Eating to discomfort. That didn't happen. And I did those back-strengthener thingies.

On to Day 3!!!

Love to you all, I'll check in later.

Smile BoBeena's taking the challenge!

Hello there!!

I have decided to join the group! My 21 day challenge is to plan out all meals for myself and family. We eat out WAY too much. My husband is the one who does dinner since I am still at work until later. Which means if there is nothing out, it is fast food

So for the next 21 days, we can only eat out 2 times per week all the rest must be home cooked!

I am starting out small, the next block I will get tougher!

You all are doing so well I saw that Eydie completed her block, WTG

I"ll check in with you later. . . BoBeena

Default Yo!

Yo!!! Welcome to Bo-Beena!!!! Yay, another challenger to add to our pool of 21-day karma! Everyday I am drawing more and more 21-day by dipping into this pool ... if you guys can do it, I CAN DO IT, TOO!!!

Broke my vow and drove around looking for a gas tanker ... finally found a station open and sat in line an hour thinking about Krispy Kreme, but sticking to this challenge is more important, so I'm still among the cool crowd! (US!)

Cerise: on Day One and again on that marvelous save with the burger/fries on Day Two!!! Woo-hoooo!!

Zadie: to you for pulling through a crapatious (sp?) DAY EIGHT and still great!!!

Later, gators, both mentioned and unmentioned! WE'RE GONNA DO THIS!!

Thank you, everybody, for your congrats on making it around the block. Much appreciated!

Day 1 is going well. I can tell because I'm HUNGRY! As one who used to go for months and never feel growly, hunger is a good thing!
