I made it into the 180's a month ago, and I'm now a little more than half-way through (184). Here's hoping the trend continues so I can be into the 170's at some point in May!
Good luck getting into the next decade Viridiana & spangled! |
Congrats, Tuscany!
I'm at 180 this morning. Hoping to break into the 170s soon. |

I was in the 190s for months, now I have been in the 180s (188) for a whole week please looks at my photo this is a beige and after the before was when I was 192. Can't wait to get to the 170s

I am finally stablized at 185.6 for the past few months... yeay and boo. Blah. The lowest I got to a few months ago was 181 for like a day..so close to the 170s but then I just balloon up and down within the 180s since March... ugh. I need to commit to lower carbs and moving again... going to hopefully get some movement in tomorrow.. ideally some strength training and squats.

I'm down to 187.8 lb today! A great big whoosh.....
So excited! |
Just hit my half-way mark at 180! I feel so close to finally dropping below that '8' that i haven't not seen on the scales for years.
|
187.4 lb today......
Getting close to breaking through the obesity barrier! |
I know this thread is pretty much abandoned since you all moved on to lower weights but I just got to 188.6 today!
|
Sometimes I weigh my self days in a row, sometimes I don't, but today I got on the scale. I know weighs can differ day to day depending on water weight and other factors but today I weigh 187.6! When it's a pound difference like yesterday was a pound more, I can only assume it was due to bloat or one of the other many factors that affect us. But still , it feels good to see the number dropping!

187 today but I think I am going to stop weighing and posting on this thread. Anyway, good luck to everyone on their path to weight loss!

I'm either out of the 180s or very darn close
Had surgery recently - after two failed hernia repairs with mesh for an incisional hernia from hysterectomy eight years ago, I had a bigger surgery called components separation, which means my own muscles have been reconstructed, with only a "scaffolding" piece of mesh. Some fat and extra skin was removed during the surgery from where the hernia had been. Like getting a mini tummy tuck thrown in! :cheer2:
And since I didn't eat much around the time of the surgery, I had already started losing. I really felt motivated to keep off that weight and lose even more so that there won't be pressure on all the sutures and stuff. Prior to my hospital stay, I also had a sinus infection and no sense of smell, so food wasn't appealing. I had given up my nighttime snacking fairly easily. Then upon coming home from the hospital, I have just pledged to eat differently - less food (but not so much less as to slow metabolism), minimizing sugar, adding fiber and finally getting back to vegetable consumption (I'm a picky eater so this is an area of challenge, but there are some of them I'm okay with, so I'll make do with those). Long story short, according to the home bathroom scale I'm out of the 180s. Tomorrow I go to the doctor, and we'll see if their scale isn't too far off from this one here. I know it'll add some pounds, but still in my record it will be obvious that I weigh less than I did the last time I weighed on their scale. Anyway, I feel good! Body image improved immensely when I don't have a big bulge on one side, plus digestion is better, and motivation is sky-high! :smug: |
