Good Morning Everyone  Hot and humid day here today!

Today I'm a 10/10. I woke up early and got my exercise in. Now time for more :coffee2:

Have a great day!

I re-committed on Monday. I lost 11lbs before my wedding 6 weeks ago, then gained 2 on our honeymoon and another 1 right after - all from being lax. So, now I'm DEFINITELY back on the grind. I'd like to lose another 9-12 lbs.

ladyvwj 07-29-2015 11:52 AM

I've been finding out this week, everyday, that I am super motivated every morning to being committed. I do very well until after lunch. I've been stealing bites here and there of things I shouldn't eat! So disappointed! fitness-wise, I've been surprising myself and doing well. I hope the calories burned will out weigh the ones eaten. :^:

I am super motivated today and already put in my 45mins workout early this morning, which is a change from my evening workouts.

Slashnl 07-29-2015 01:26 PM

I'm at 10/10 for exercise, for sure. But struggling a lot with food. I'm having to struggle to make good choices. So probably 6/10 for that....

Hello there,

I used to come here and post and then my struggles got the best of me. Today, I'm a 9/10 with eating. I have a hard time because of insomnia, daily migraines and a food addiction. I had to travel abroad for two weeks and I gained 10 lbs. and then I came bad and had two more weeks of epic migraines so I gained another 10 lbs. I've lost 8.5 lbs of those 20 total gained but I hope I can lose the rest and get back to where I was and beyond. I'm so glad everyone is coming here and posting their state of mind.

This is such a mind over matter process.

10/10 today, determined to stay on plan whatever life throws at me :D I think I may be in Ketosis, or possibly on the verge on it - very little number 2 this week and peeing every 30 minutes!! Not complaining, every little helps :D My new trainers arrived today so gonna try and break them in tomorrow. :carrot: hugs to you all!

You are so right about this being about mind over matter!

Luckymommy, welcome back!!! I am so sorry you have been suffering migraines, among other things. How awful! Good for you for working to get that weight back off, and you're succeeding! :cp: Keep going! :cheer:

MsTibbles, woohoo! Good for you! I love when things work out!

Slashnl, yay on the exercise commitment! :lifter: Stick to your eating plan now! You will be miserable and feel guilty and question yourself as to why if you go off plan. It's just so much easier to stay on plan, lol, because that temptation will pass, and you will feel so good about sticking with it! C'mon now, you can do it! :goodluck:

Ladyvwj, woohoo on the workouts! :exercise: Do you think that maybe allocating more calories for breakfast or lunch could help you not to feel so hungry in the afternoon? I eat a really big breakfast and I credit it with keeping me from being hungry all day. Would that be something you could try, or would that blow your plan? :hungry:

Munchy, :congrat: on the wedding! Way to go on your renewed commitment! :dancer:

Lovemylife, yay on the good start to a good day! :flow2:

Leah, I hope today is going more smoothly for you! :jig:

PigeonQueen, yay on losing a lb! :broc: That Amber alert came across my phone around 3 am, so I hear you on the broken sleep!

Yay, Perennial! Look at you go! Keep it up! :woohoo:

Today I am a 10/10! I made my 6-lb goal for the month, so I am thrilled! And now I'm off to the gym! :yay:

ladyvwj 07-29-2015 06:02 PM

"Jacqui_D", I am only allowed so many "snacks" on the plan, which I haven't found appetizing after my first week but I think it's all mental. I just want to EAT ... eat bread, eat sweets, eat fattening fried chicken... things like that. I was really motivated the first week and said no to everything bad for my plan but I've been finding it harder and harder to do.

ladyfat 07-29-2015 08:03 PM

The only thing I am committed to today is tracking calories and stressing about how I'm not exercising or doing anything but not actually doing anything. IN other words, today blows.

perennial 07-29-2015 08:17 PM

Thanks prairie and jacqui :)

142.34 this morning!!! Body is burning what I hope is fat haha, big time! I'm feeling a bit more energetic than before too.

Menu plan for today:

- Soy latte
- Fresh watermelon juice
- Brown rice green tea and green tea tablet
- Squid salad
- Pickled seaweed
- Miso soup
- Dinner TBC

Hoping to end this week on 140 - 3 days to go!

Jacqui_D 07-29-2015 09:22 PM

Ladyvwj, ah, I see. I'll tell you how I got through periods like that when I was first starting out. I forced myself to put my fork down and drink water between bites at meals. I would take 2-3 sips after every single bite. It made me so full and didn't require any more food! Please understand I don't like water. I drank Diet Dr. Pepper for years and I've tried to like water and I just don't, so my water is flavored with Mio water enhancer. I've heard that artificial sweeteners can make you hungrier but that hasn't happened with me with the Mio water. This technique really works for me. The one bad part is that you must have access to a bathroom, lol! :D I wish I could tell you something guaranteed to work for you, but those are my only 2 tricks: a really big breakfast and water between bites. They are what continue to keep me full and keep me from snacking.

Ladyfat, aw, don't be so hard on yourself! Sometimes this journey requires baby steps. Sometimes we can only work up the energy to do one thing or another, and you know what? That's more than we were doing before, so yay! :carrot: Good job tracking calories! When you feel up to exercising again, you will!

Perennial, you are on fire! :flame: Fantastic job! :cp:

10/10 today. It's been kind of a crazy week. My eating has been on point but I am not getting in as much exercise as I know I should.

lovemylife001 07-30-2015 10:58 AM

Good Late Morning Everyone

Today I'm a 10/10. I had a great workout this morning and the weather is going to be a bit more tolerable today :cheer: And it's almost TGIF!

Have a great day everyone. Will check in tomorrow!
