Inkrid, you can do it!

On another note, totally forgot about labor day weekend. Three days off yay!!

Also, my signature keeps not showing up?? yesterday i deleted and resaved it and it came up on my next post but now not showing on my recent posts again.

Aml, I hope your anxiety has passed. Btw, I can see your signature.

Inkrid, I don't know what you have in your fridge but I wouldn't recommend trying to speed eat. Can you freeze some things? Or cook some dishes up and freeze them for later? :chef:

Not very. Terrible day ladytrouble-wise and I'm allowing myself some sugar. Might exercise later if I feel better though. But as long as I feel this lousy, damn all diets to h*ll!

Jacqui_D 09-04-2015 12:37 PM

Aw, Pigeon! I think when TOM is being troublesome, it's perfectly understandable to give yourself a bit of a break to get through it. It's like being sick. You eat what you need to in order to feel well and exercise again when you're ready!

I'm a 9/10 today, not because of anything negative though. It's just Saturday and it's going to be pushing 90 outside today. I got to sleep in until after 7 (that's sleeping in for me), hubs walked the dogs, fed the cats, and just left to get the oil changed in my truck (it's only second time he's driven it...I'm very protective of it). I'm going to try to can some salsa with the dwindling tomato harvest (lots of other veg still producing though), clean (part of) the house and do some laundry like a good domestic goddess;) oh, and the scale was down another 0.6 from yesterday despite the beer and pizza last night! (Think I'm going to pull out some old clothes to see if anything fits yet.)

I've Got Weight Loss on My Mind 24/7

I'm 198 and my goal is to weigh 150 . I am not losing too rapidly as I don't wish for saggy skin from extreme rapid weight loss which may cause this. Butt I do plan to work very hard and toning at the gym. I feel so focused that my appetite has almost disappeared , and its helping me to lose weight and see the #s on my scale hike to the left almost weekly. It feels so good to see the #s go to the left of the scale. This in itself is my Big Prize, and secondly I am ordering new clothes to also reward myself when I drop 10 Lbs.Little rewards are also helpful for me in continuing to lose the weight.....PS, sleeping in for the past 2 days has been such a treat compared to awakening daily @ 6am for work. I have overslept a few times this week and it has felt wonderful.

I hear ya! Those little baby steps to the left just motivate me all the more. After three months, I'm not thinking about food all of the time like I was in the beginning. My lifestyle change feels normal finally.

Good luck! We're all in this together here.

I am a 9/10 today for eating because it's Sunday and I fix the English hubs a proper cooked breakfast and decided I would sit down with him. I had two sausage links, half roasted tomato, a thick slice of sourdough with Kerrygold butter, and a leftover deviled egg half. (He had triple that with fried eggs and baked beans.) I was super good at lunch...no carbs. Dinner will be high protein as well.

As for exercise....I went to Aldi for some organic stuff, picked/shelled dried beans, and sat on my butt in the ac for a good while (it's 90 F here).

Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend everyone!

Started the 15 Day Joe Cross Plan! It looks like I have to be 15/10 this time!! LOL! Wish me luck! Every season I do one of his Plans and am now shooting for 15 Days up from 10 when I did it earlier this summer!

PrairieQueen 09-07-2015 04:37 PM

I started out day a 10/10 but it dropped to 8/10 for eating. After a decent breakkie, I went to outlets with DD and had a small Subway club w/ham, turkey, roast erg, Provo cheese and some veggies with water. We shopped for almost three hours and I treated myself (per hubs' request) to a fancy new purse and clothes in size 12 and medium! I still had to buy a large blouse at The Levi store, but DD was comforting when she told me their stuff runs small. It didn't bother me though.
