This made me feel so much better
Hey all,
I haven't been around much but I am still plodding along on my journey. Lately I have been feeling a bit discouraged though because I have been a bit stuck between 73 and 74 kg for the last 2 months.
Anyway, the other night my boyfriend and I were out at a pub and he took a picture of us andposted it on a group chat he was on. A friend of his messaged him back and this is more or less how the conversation went:
Friend: Nick, that's not Janine!!!
Boyfriend: Yes it is, she cut her hair.
Friend: And lost 100kg?
Boyfriend: 25 to be exact, looking good hey.
Friend: Yeah, too good for you, give her my number.
So, yeah. My boyfriend was kinda embarrassed that I saw what he had written but instead of feeling offended it has actually really given me a boost. Lol. And the fact that my guy said that everyone he knows has commented on how good I look and even his dad said he was proud of me. It means so much. I have to add we have been a couple for 12 years so the guy must have gotten a shock to see someone else in the picture. Lol.
Anyone else have any good pick me up stories?
