I knew DH was going to be at the farm late tonight. He was trying to finish all of his planting and farming today. I didn't want to eat that late, so I decided to eat out on my own at Jason's deli. I knew they had updated their nutritional information online. I was trying to plan my meal and noticed there was a big change in the meal that I wanted. I don't eat it often, so it's not earth shattering, but there is a significant difference. I'm glad I checked beforehand and was able to plan accordingly.
Zima Does that Cardio Kickbox workout feature Michael Olijade? I have some workouts with him. Have fun tonight.
Alaskanlaughter Try moving the scale to another area. Sometimes the floor being uneven messes with the scale readings.
Happygal Glad today was a better day for you.
Larry Keep working it and watch that sodium. Good job on your calories.
Inkrid Today is a new day. I'm sure the gain is mostly water.
Marniadec Hi and welcome back! Great job sticking with your plan.
Summerlove You will still get there with the slow, steady weight loss. Just work on a lifestyle change that you can do forever.
Today's damage: still maintaining at 3 pounds water weight. Eating has not been good this week. I did burn some serious calories though. Dug my kettlebells out and I can sure feel it! (Enough progress has been made on my floor that I can now work out at home again).
Thanksgiving weekend here, so I'm not freaking about my eating until Tuesdat. Then my goal is 4 weeks of on target before I go away with my mom and sister in law.
Had a good day. I stay within my calorie range and walked in the mall for exercise. You can tell the holidays are almost here, because the mall was really crowded with people. Already?! I got my first Christmas present, since boots were on sale. I love them! I also did yard work with my hubby. Have a great Sunday!
I have not felt good today not horribly sick but some kind of headache, sinus, ear pressure thing going on...a mild cold setting in or allergies, no idea....felt miserable until mid-afternoon when I ATE....then I felt better....and at dinner I ate a lot MORE interestingly I don't feel sick anymore....however I DO feel like a piggy lol....*sigh* it was at least 2000 calories maybe more like 2300 ughhhh....I know I wont eat anything else tonight, i'm way too full....tomorrow I start again im also going to add a goal of getting more fluids in because I know i'm often slightly dehydrated....my current goals are 1) low sugar 2) around 1500 calories and now 3) more fluid intake and with a somewhat goal of not eating much/anything after dinner....most days I can hit most of those goals although i'm rarely perfect...we'll see how adding the fluid intake goal works
PS: and I need to add that, even though the scale reads 195-196 now I DO NOT LOOK and DO NOT FEEL that heavy....I don't want to assume it's muscle/water retention etc although I've been doing heavy weights nearly daily for over a month now, almost two months....but I truly don't think I LOOK like the scale says and my clothes fit great and I can see where I've lost inches although I don't have a tape measure...but I also don't want to deceive myself, blame it on the weight training, and wake up one morning to find myself at 230 pounds again ughhhh WHAT DO I DO??

quick check in from my mini vacation.
I am doing waaaay better than I thought I would on my 'regular' vacation modes.........
I used to bring foods to snack on.... and none of them were healthy.
I am eating dessert, but I am eating overall way less than I would have before.... I am looking forward to getting back home and cooking because I can feel the difference from the higher salt levels of these foods...
I am planning my first 'official' weigh in for Tuesday ( give me one day to help with water retention) and hopefully I can officially change my ticker to be lower.
I'm new and I want to hold myself accountable! Yesterday:
Weight: 158.5
Breakfast: small Peach all fruit smoothie from Jamba Juice (I do not like Jamba Juice, why do I continue to try???)
Lunch: Lean Cuisine, spinach salad, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, dressing
Snack: 5 Dove Dark chocolate pieces
Dinner: Sushi (anniversary dinner)
Snack: 1/2 box of Raisinets (I usually eat the whole thing so there was a small win here)
I love seeing what everyone eats. It gives me a lot of ideas.
I'm down 0.5 lbs from yesterday. I was expecting a smaller loss today, after the crazy 2-lb loss from the day before. So 255 lbs today
Meal: Haleem (middle-Eastern dish that's like a savory porridge... made with wheat, a ton of lentils, meat, and spices). Garnished with lemon juice, chopped chilies and grated ginger.
Went to the hospital. FIL still in ICU with a suspected blood clot. But hopefully that should dissolve by tomorrow in which case he might go back to the ordinary ward.
Took my salad with me.
Down 1.4lbs today. And have shifted by ticker.
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toasted low-calorie bread with raw mushrooms and mayo light. A few olives. 1 coffee, milk, no sugar.
Lunch: Shrimp, calamari, mussels, a little mahi mahi, 7 anchovies, citrus sauce, mixed greens, argula, tomato, pickled garlic, corn, black beans, lentils, olives, blueberries, red onion, sun-dried tomato, hemp seeds, curry hummus, spicy tsatsiki, french onion dip.
Dinner: Will drink beer (Green Flash Green Bullet).
Exercise: Ran 6.22 miles in some new running shoes. I need to wear them in. They don't feel as good as the old ones yet. Although I did do an outside 10k in my fastest time ever...55 minutes.
The weather was blustery. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and I might push for a longer run. I like to do one long run a week.
