  • Hi Ladies,
Sorry I haven't been around lately. I don't have much of a post today. Food hasn't been very good. I just don't feel motivated right now, but I'm sure that will change. Anyway, I'll be in chat tonight, see you there. Hope you all are having a great day.

  • I figured it would be better for me to change my weigh in day from Sundays to Wednesdays, so I jumped on The Beast (aka the scale ) this morning:

I LOST THREE MORE POUNDS! Considering my TOM is due shortly, that is pretty good (and for the second month in a row, I have not broken out in a thousand zits nor had nutty mood swings

See...I told you all I was going to crack down! My goal is to break 300 by the time I see the weight loss surgeon on August 25; my food has been great this week, and in addition to doing my 100 tummy crunches and butt lifts this morning, I also did my 30 minute workout this afternoon.

With the cool wet weather, I haven't been able to walk much. Maybe I better hit the mall to walk instead

  • Hi girls! I'm here, but I'm not coherent anymore. It's almost 3:00 AM here as I'm typing.

Today was my 'baby's' 22nd birthday. OMG am I getting old!!! He's still at school so we met him at a nice restaurant that's 1/2 way between here and there. We had a nice dinner and he opened his gifts. I took a small cake, just enough for a small piece for each of us. It was nice.

I high-tailed it home to attend the School Board Meeting, which wasn't necessary to 'high-tail' it since they started a half hour late! But I'll have you know, I played nice with the others tonight!!!

I'm going to run. I can't see straight anymore.

Thin... I love that quote. It is sooooo true.
But sometimes you get the sweetest onions and oh so yummy.

No time for this girl to visit either. 2:30 am here... and I have to drive to Missouri in the morning.
    No rest for the wicked.

I sure do miss some of you who are not posting .... Where are you hiding??
I know summer always slows down the posting...
but I don't want you to quit all together.
Please poke your heads in and say hello. PLEASE !!!!!

I am so tired I caan't seem to get enough rest for some reason. I have to set up a meeting to plan 2 years worth of programs for the Mississippi Genealogy Society as well as all my other duties.

My sons leg is a lot better, but it should be his meds was 91.00 and that was for the generic brand.Guess who had the honor of paying for it?

Food is terrible I ate a whopper combo yesterday from Buger King. I can't seem to get back on track. I don't know if I want to really. I don't mean that of course, but it is so tough. I feel so down a lot of the time.

Sorry to gross to all of you

Chat was nice last night sorry I had to run so quick.

  • Hi all! I am still going strong at Curves and still loving it. Weigh in and measurements are next Wed. One girl got weighed and measured yesterday and she lost 8.6 lbs and 10.75 inches in 1 month. She is also going to weight watchers. I am really proud of myself for sticking with this program for almost a month now. I haven't touched regular soda and I've only had 2 diet sodas since I started. I drink water, water, and more water. One thing I do need to do though is eat more veggies. I don't get nearly enough, but what I'm doing seems to be working. I go food shopping tomorrow so we'll see if I'm brave enough to try some new ones. Well today is laundry day so I need to get my butt in gear. Talk to you all later.

  • Thank you Lynne.... that was a very thoughtful post, and Lord knows we sure do need it. Food hasn't been perfect, or should I say I haven't been perfect, but definitely better. I've had to eat out a lot this week and that is always hard, but I feel like I've made pretty good choices and have turned down things that I really wanted, so all in all, not so bad.

I'm sorry I haven't been around alot lately, but the computer at work has been at the shop and once I get home, I'm running around like something crazy and everytime I sit down to get on the computer, someone else wants on it.

I've also been getting ready for my trip to Charlotte and that has kept me pretty busy too. I've not left you guys...just not been around as much. After I get back from the race, things should settle down some. I hope.

We've also got a new addition to the family... Well, I guess I should say new additions. My cat, Emily, had her kittens! Guess when she had them?! On May 20th at 3:03am! Now, the date may not be too important to you, but it was to me. Guess who else's birthday is May 20th? I'll give you one guess....and the first two don't count.
TONY'S! He turned 32 on Tuesday, the same day the kittens were born. Emily must be a Tony fan too!

Here's some pictures of her and the babies!

We have five total......they all will be long haired, and have flat little faces like their mama. There are three black and two silvery gray.

Here's one of me today at work

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and I'll hop back in here before I leave.

    Love to all....
  • Wow, Tina you look great! Congrats on the new kittens; they are adorable (I love baby kittens)! Mama cat must definitely be a Tony fan too!

The weather was a bit chilly today, but at least there wasn't any rain. Nevertheless, I got a workout in, and worked on my website as well, to make it look more organized and professional. I think I am going to keep this blond cuteness ( ); I've gotten so much positive feedback on it both online and offline. I can just envision now how I am going to look once the rest of this weight is off !

Below is Tigger and Noah doing one of their "Cat Wrestling Federation" matches For those of you that haven't been to Tigger and Noah's website , Noah is the orange/white tubby tabby and Tigger is the grey/brown/black/white kitty with the white paws...and takes being King Kitty seriously
  • Hi everyone! Things are still in high gear here. I took #1 son to lunch and then I had a dinner shop this evening. BIG eatin' day! Anyway, it was 'take your son to work day' again. It's the pitts that he's unemployed, gradgiated (yes, this word IS spelled correctly), but unemployed! That will have to change SOON!

2cute: Hope the garage sale is going well and you can unload all your treasures. Have a safe trip back home.

Lori: I like the blonde. Looks good. 3 pounds is great progress. You go, girl!

Steph: I'm so proud of you going to Curves. Gosh, I'm gearing up to do something BIG. Can't wait to hear your weigh/measure results.

Mary: Goodness, that's terrible about your son. I hope he's feeling better real soon. * Sounds like you've got your hands full with the family, job and geneology stuff. I hope you're enjoying some of it.

Lynne: WOW, looks like you're making some good progress. Good for you.

Tina: I wondered where you ran off to. Looks like you were birthing a new family. What little cuties. What are you going to do with all those new kitties. Do you have homes for them yet, or are you keeping them all??? Thanks for sharing the pics of your extended family AND that new one of YOU. You look great!!!

Kat: I'm so sorry about your former co-worker. That can be a real shock, especially so young. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family. * School must almost be over for your daughter. I bet she can't wait for graduation.

Amanda: I sure hope you're in better spirits by now. Stop in and keep us posted.

Deon: You have NOT "fallen and can't get up". Look at your next statement and it was how you were only 2 points over. That is a nice comeback from BingeCity. You can pull this together. Don't give up.

Terri: You're right, all it takes is a little determination. Go for it!!!

Tracy: 4 pounds, Good Girl! That's wonderful. Keep it up.

Well girls, I was labeling and stuffing envelopes all night with my election flyers. Nothing better to do when I was watching a movie. And hey, it's better than eatting!

I am so looking forward to honey's and my get-away next week. The thread is really slowing down, I sure hope there's a thread to come home to. Love to all. Nitey nite!!!

  • I can do it, yes I can!
Oh yes a big for me! I went to WI tonight and I wasnt even going to go, in fact on Mon I was all ready to quit WW completely, and guess what I was actually down .6!! Now I know that doesn't seem like much to some of you but for me it is a big deal, when a week ago I went up 2.6 and had 2 really big binges this week. So yes I am very excited and sooo back on track.

Tina and Lori: Love the kitty pics. I would put one of my kitty but still haven't quite figured out how to get pics on here, maybe I will work on that tomorrow.

  • Alright I think I have it now, we will see how this one looks. If anyone saw the two posts I deleted I apologize I just realized that that picture was way too big to be on here so I am attempting one final time to post my before picture, and please forgive me I am really not as mean as I look, I think it is just because I hate having my picture taken but that will change.
  • Hello All!
I'm in a great mood today. I just got home a little while ago. I had the best day. My daughter had her last day at preschool today then when I got home I went over to our neighbors. I spent five hours teaching our neighbors 13 yr. old daughter how to make beaded jewelry. She had such a blast and was so into what I taught her. Don't you love those moments? Those moments when you realize that you can make a real difference in someone's life? She was already interested in beads and I just took that interest and showed her what to do with it. It was so fun to see her own amazement at what she could do.

I guess it inspired me in the weight loss thing too. I think I had my break through. I realized that weight loss is like learning beading. I already have an interest, and so far I've been looking for the right teacher to show me what to do with the interest I've got. From there it is my own creativity and my own interest to continue. I just need the directions. So, in chat the other night Sandy was telling me how many points I could have on WW. I think I'm going to try that plan and see if that is the tool I need. Anyway the thing is I'll just have to keep trying different patterns until I find one that works. I've spent many years beading and one of the biggest things I've learned is some things just work for you and some just don't. Take what works for you and work it to the best of your ability. That is what I'm going to do with this.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. Since everyone else posted pics of their kitties I'm going to post one of my kitty Macy.
  • Just popping in to say HI! And I'm off to work! Will try and check in tomorrow since I am off...we plan to do spring cleaning tomorrow since John is home too. He is starting today but how much he will get done with Andrew home is debatable...I am betting ZILCH!

    Gotta run to work!
Oh Deon...great picture! You all are so brave! Maybe I will get there one day where I can post mine too!!
