I told you where to get calorie counts as did others. Calorie counts are not at all difficult to find.

thanks all. I appreciate your kind responses

ok, need to get my butt into gear! make it happen!
so tomorrow I will for sure be getting some fruits like apples, grapes and some bananas and make my own fruit salad and put it in the fridge and munch whenever I can.
Would it be bad if I mixed that with some pouring cream?

I DO eat dairy products and fish - just no meat but instead I substitute that with quorn (like from the fungi group).

There isn't "bad" food. But if you are choosing to spend your allotted calories on pouring cream, you may find yourself hungry later and wishing you'd budgeted better. But its all about experimenting to see what works. I fit butter, bacon, cream and cheese into my budget, but I measure, weight and count every calorie.

I sometimes use a little half and half on my cereal no more than 1/4 or 1/2 a cup. I have to be very careful of this as I like it too much. Usually I will use almond milk on my cold cereals and oatmeal I use no milk at all. Watch the ingredients on cereals as some of them have a lot of sugar in them.Regarding bananas if I won't be using them right away I slice them and put them in a freezer container and freeze them. They work great in smoothies and you won't need ice in your smoothie. I always use them right away when I take them out of the freezer.

"They" say we should breakfast like a King, lunch like a Prince and supper like a pauper. We do need to eat balanced meals and I have found via the Weight watchers pro point program that protein at every meal certainly fills my tank and keeps me full and sustained until the next meal. This also kick starts the metabolism and being satisfied, I am not constantly thinking about food.
Check out the program. It works. I have lost around 39kg (85 pounds) and have made this a life style change and am still enjoying it. All the best to you.

I have found that convenient things like string cheese, Greek yogurt (higher in protein than regular) and cottage cheese make nice, easy snacks that are also quite nutritious, and the protein in them keeps me satisfied for a longer time. Pair themwith a bit of fruit and you have a very healthy mini-meal. No cooking required!
