Just thought I'd say hi. Nothing interesting to report. I've been doing really well during the day and when the kids go to bed the munchies set in. I think it's a combo of loneliness (DH is away), boredom and exhaustion. But it really hasn't been TOO bad. I'm drinking too much again. Beer or my current fav, hot chocolate w/ Baileys and whiskey. Thats probably quite a few cals...tomorrow I'll have a mini goal: Be good!!! One relly good day will put me back on track. Hasta luega chicks!

Hello everyone....hope all is well....... Clarita I saw in your post that you had a thyroid problem...are you on medication? I have been dealing with the same problem for about 4 years now and take a fairly high dosage of synthroid. Has been an ok eating week so far but haven't found my way to exercise yet this week.
Working all day and meeting in the evenings...but I better get in gear soon!!!!!! Hope you all have a great week!

Hi everyone! I am having a great week this week. I can't wait to weigh in and tell my loss!! Gee, How long has it been since I was excited to weigh in?

Roseblush, Could you do 15 minutes here and there through out the day for exercise? That is what I do and it still has given me results. I know how hard it can be to claim a big block of the day to get it done at once.

AppleBlossom, Nights are really hard for me too. I like to sit and mindlessly munch while I watch tv at night. It is the hardest habit I have had to try to break. Good Luck. When is hubby coming home?

Angry Good Morning!

Hey just checking in not much going on, here except my MIL is having surgery this morning! They are trying to correct problems that years of acid reflux has caused!! If you get a minute say a quick prayer for her, she was so scared!

The weather here is yuck, thank goodness for videos so I can exercise inside!

Clarita and Roseblush, my husband now has hypo thyroidism, due to the fact his thyroid was damaged when he was on radiation for cancer (lymphoma), his has been cancer free for over a year, I pray he stays that way, anyway he takes Synthyroid. He has put on some weight, but his biggest problem is he is extremely heat intolerant!! He is hot almost all the time!! This summer should be FUN!!

Everybody have a good weekend, I will weigh tomorrow, but not report til Monday AM. Thanks!!

Default I missed it all!

I have been so busy I hadn't realized that a new thread had been created. Anyway we have a whole lot of new people. WELCOME to this amazing thread full of wonderful people. Gennel I know this is a bit late but could you put me down for 5 lbs? Thanks. I have to say you gals I really have to get my butt in gear my family challenge is coming to an end on the 15th of March and the bank is worth $300 buckaroos!

These past few days I have been keeping my hands busy and away from the goodies. Unfortunately I can't say that I have been exercising. Actually I have picked up another hobby I had put aside only because I have been so busy with school. Anyway it keeps my hands busy which means I can't snack and watch the tv at the same time. I was invited to a baby shower this Saturday, the hostess is having a baby girl. I didn't find out til Sunday that I was invited so I got busy and started crocheting. melekalikimaka-yes, I too have a pair of Zenia jeans hanging on the inside of my closet door. Size 11/12 from the junior department! I wonder when I will see that again... June hopefully! Of course right now they are covered up by the wonderful ironing accumulation that I should do tonight! Friday night excitement!!! Tomorrow should be better, if I get it all done tonight that is.
I've been doing pretty good with the food. Had a big lunch today, so dinner should be lighter. That'll work. Must work out too. I haven't for a few days.

Kina, That blanket is beautiful!!! My mom crochets alot. She has made some really nice blankets over the years.

I am down to 159!!! I lost 2 pounds this week. We lost our power last night from 1:00-6:00 this morning. EEKS!!! It was so cold!

Hello all! I am happy to report a 2 pound loss for the week!! Two weeks in a row with a 2 pound loss. I am beyond happy. One more pound to drop into the 160's!! I haven't been here since high school. I went to a scrapbooking party last night. It was so nice to get away from the kids and household stuff and concentrate on my friends and my hobby. I got three layouts done. And I didn't eat a rediculous amount of munchies. But I did have two big glasses of wine though. It was worth it though. It was so relaxing and fun. It is snowing again, ugh. I did 3.25 miles on the treadmill this morning I went pretty slow (3.4-4.0) and didn't run at all because my legs have been hurting. I'm hoping to be up to speed tomorrow after a day of semi-rest. I hope you all have a good weigh in today. I'm off to fullfill my domestic responsibilities, you know, cooking and cleaning and laundry and on and on....... HAve a great day ladies,

Good morning ladies. No loss for me this week , still hanging in there at 183. I'm not surprised since I've had so many parties and indulgences this past week. But watch out for me next week . I'm gonna do it by golly! I have the right mind-set so I'm just going to keep going forward and downward.

Congrats Angie and Serina on your fabulous losses! Woo-Hoo!

Angry Hi everyone

Way to go Angie and Laney! Well I'm down 1 lb this week. I was on a plateau from last Saturday until yesterday, then TOM started and I lost a pound! First time I actually was happy TOM was here! I was wondering if any of you gals lift weights, and if so if it's with the machines or free weights. I do the machines and some basic free weights, but I'm wondering if I should ask the trainer to help me come up with a free weight program instead. Any suggestions? Oh Kina the blanket is beautiful ! No loss for me this week, but my body is being weird so I will let it slide. My doctor is blaming all this on my thyroid and has increased my dosage. Hopefully everything will get back on track and my metabolism will have a mini boost. Its gorgeous and sunny up here in Washington State so I think I might have to go to the park and have a nice walk. Congratulations on all the losses!
