Me and the girls just went for a 3 mile walk. one trip around the block is 1 1/2 miles so we did it twice. The first time around there was a house with a kitten sitting in between the house door and the storm door and we were looking at it(I would never go up to the house because they have a huge dog who is USUALLY loose) anyways some kids upstairs opened the window and hollered something rude so I yelled up to tell them that their kitten was in between the door so they slammed the window on me. Okay trip 2 I stopped in front of the house and waited until someone came to the window and I waved and pointed at them to open the window and yelled that there was a cat in the door. They shut the blind but kept coming back so while this was happening a neighbor of theirs came home so I told her that their cat was in the doors but they wouldn't open the window for me. That cat could fry up in between 2 doors in direct sunlight!! Idiots!!

I am goping to go for another walk after work for a total of 4.5 miles today and I didn't snack last night. Hopefully I am back on track!

Congratulations Kempy!!!! I dont want to weigh in until 3/1 to give myself time to lose.

Yeah. I only really swell after chinese food. It would be just my luck that the only food I really love I would be allergic to.

Did the neighboor go let the cat out? I hate to hear that he was stuck.

Default Yes, and I think it's MSG, also.

Kempyd -
We live less than 7 miles from one corner of the A&M campus that's inside College Station city limits.
The Fireman Training School is further away from us on the other side of town.
Other than what they go thru in the firemen school, I hope your hubby's visit here was pleasant. (The firemen training was probably anything But pleasant)

AngieME -
If it's not one of those Asian restaurants that states they do Not use MSG....then practically everything there is probably loaded with it.
It's also a type of salt: mono-Sodium-glutamate.
If I was going to suspect something, it would be that.

Gar my hubby didn't have time to do anything but the training. We has there for a week. He had to learn how to put out pipeline fires and propane tankers. He really liked it though.

Angie you can tell the resturant not to add any MSG next time and see if that will help with the bloating.

Oh yeah, can you guys tell that I am bored silly. It is pouring down outside so no body is coming to workout.

Good morning/afternoon chickies. I dropped my hubby off at the airport early this morning , er, so I just got into the office (8:00 am) to hold down the fort. I think I need to give myself a raise, hehe. I think it's supposed to rain here again over the weekend, but it's beautiful out right now. approaching 75 degrees already.

That MSG is nasty stuff, always gives me a headache. A lot of the restaurants here don't use it, but they will if you don't ask them not to.

Woohoo Angie, back on track and walking away. I was hoping you'd slow down so I could catch up to you -just kidding . Oh well, I'll just have to work myself harder. Why is it that the older you get the more attached the fat is to you? Am I lazier (yeah), or is it just the metabolism slowing down? (that too).

Kempy~~you rock! When it starts raining here I'll be thinking of you, down on the bayou.

What the heck is happening in the US? First Chicago, now Rhode Island. All those people killed and injured, and for what? And now that fire out on Staten Island. Strange things are happening. I'm going to stop watching the news and reading the paper since it's too depressing. I wanna watch old cartoons like Fearless Fly and Mighty Mouse, I wanna be 6 again with no cares in the world. wah wah wah

hey ladies. I'm off today, was supposed to be on my ski trip, but it's supposed to terential rain all weekend, which ruins the slopes here... so i'm home. We then thought about giong to the cabin up there at WISP anyway, for the weekend. maybe play board games, catch up on family news.. see my sister. That fel through the last minute too. Then, it was, "let's meet halfway between here and Ohio, and just make an exploratory weekend for everyone. See what happens". Last minute on that one... cancelled. Now, we're home. Hubby's off looking at houses with his dad, and having lunch out. I'm home, putting makeup on, getting spiffied up for tonight. We'll go to get eye seams,a nd I'm looking to get Contact Lenses. Waiting for so long to get them, and finally, the tax money came in. So, we'll get some dinner, get contacts, and call it a date. I'm so disappointed by the whole thing. Yesterday at work, I mentioned that my ski trip was probably cancelled, and this morning I get a message from my boss. "just checking in"... whatever. Just because my plans changed, doesn't change the fact that I took this day off months ago. That pisses me off. People talk behind your back all the time. I had casually mentioned that my trip was cancelled but not to say anything to boss lady, to skip the drama. Sure enough, 7 am, my phone rings, and she's "just wondering if i'm going skiing as planned" how else could she have known that? So, I turne doff my phone, after leaving her a message, saying that we're going away anyway, see you monday. I'm just fuming over the whole thing. Now my fun weekend, I"ve been waiting for, is ruined.

Sorry to be such a downer. I did however, do my Pilates tape, and that was good for me. The shoveling has left me rung out physically,a nd I'm also too tired to do the crunches. I managed to convince hubby to take the dog for a walk with me late last night, and we lost her leash somewhere. we had to use the old one, that isn't retractable. Hated that. She pulled us all over the place. I'm just pissy.

Hopefully tonight will redeem this shitty day. At least i'm over my period. One plus.

OK, I finalyl caught up with the pists here. YOu girls can talk! Oh,

Angie: did the cat get freed? That'll drive me crazy til I know.

Congrats to the girls who are losing, and the rest of us that are holding: that would be me right now.

I donatd a bunch of clothes to my aunt, who gaine dher weight back, but is working on losing it all again. Who says new clothes has to be thin clothes? She's at St. Joe's getting her chemo. (frmo the lump).. update, no cancer, but still on track with chemo as a precaution. Thanks to God!

Oh, and the RI incident at the night club, all morning I was worried my sister had been there, cause we grew up in West Warwick, and my sister tends to party all night. She's okay though, even though our neighbor, well, mom's neighbor in RI, was there. No word on whether she's okay or not. It was an older crowd. My sister's 23, so she's not into that music. Makes me feel old at 28.

MSG: I used to get migraines from it. Also, it's in soups, and hot dogs. Big time preservative. I'd deifnitely ask to take out the MSG and salt.

The cat was freed!!!! YEAH!!! I just went for another walk and the same people have a huge German Shepard who was loose and had to come up and sniff. Okay that was fine and then he would run right back up to us and bark . Jumped the **** out of me. I could strangle the owners. It is a busy street and they let him loose all the time. My supply truck was *****ing about him a few weeks ago because every Monday he almost runs him over.

I do get headaches after I eat lomein too. Usually the next day while I am swollen. Now you all gave me an excuse to go back. Now I HAVE to try it without the MSG and see if it is better. haha Does it taste any different without it?

It was so nice out today. ALOT of snow has melted just in time for a big storm tomorrow. Yipee!! Can ya tell I am not impressed?

Here I go again talking to much but I have got to tell you guys this.

I was at the front conter and a guy from high scholl walked in the door. This was not just any guy, I had a major crush on him my senior year. Talk about take me by surprise. Once i was over the initial shock I was kind of disappointed though. He really isn't as cute as I remember him. I guess I will just have to remember how he was. Have any of you guys ever run into an old crush?

Chris, I read that you are getting contacts. You will love them. I have had them for 15 years and I haven't had any problems with them. I buy the ones that you are supposed to throw away every month but I wear them longer. I usually buy a six month supply and make it last for the year.

Kempy, I don't think I have run into any of my old crushes. It would be wierd though. One guy I lost "it" too, I still keep in touch with his mother but I haven't seen him for about 10 years.

Kempy, maybe your eyes were blurry when you were younger. As we get older our eyesight is much more clarified! Go check out Madcat's entry about Andy Rooney's take on women over 40. I know most of us are not over 40 but it's still funny. I look forward to getting there. Age is just a number. I remember running into one of my old crushes, he married my best childhood friend. He's not that cute anymore anyway. Oh well.

Angie, I didn't tell you about the time I was out on my walk and a big ole rottie stuck his head over his fence (which was above me) and he was right in my face...I screamed once and bolted to the right, he barked once and that was that. I can laugh about it now but is was a big, scary suprise. This happened last Sunday(?). I gotta run to pick up my son. Check ya gals later.

Hi girls, sorry I was MIA!! Didn't mean to be, I knew a new post had been started but for some reason it did not send that new messages had been posted to my in box???? Anyway I'm still op. Was so mad this week I gained a pound? I have followed this thing to a tee, well I was restricting myself way below the pts allowed on WW, but then I went up to my point level so maybe that was it, but a womans body is so funny could have been I ate more carbs???Or more salt??? Anyway, I know that the loss will show eventually cause I will not give up!! I'm in it for a new life.

Angie, glad to hear your back on track and feeling better about yourself again. Sorry your boobs hurt, thats a sucky thing!! Maybe it is the MSG??? And glad the kitty was okay. It's been really warm here on the coast too, today the temp got to 50, just intime for the storm tomorrow like you said.

Kempy, glad your TOM showed up. You will know when the time is right. I had my first at 22 and my last at 27, I had always dreamed of being a mommy. DH and I were married for couple of years before we had the first though. Yes, I got married young. I was 19, but so in love and still am with the same man!!! And about the running into an old crush.....that happened here about 1 week ago, I saw him in the grocery store, well he's still handsome, but that butterfly feeling wasnt there anymore, which when you stop to think is a good thing, my dh would be upset....

Hope everyone is doing well and I will be back.
