  • Back up today. I'm blaming water and I think I'm a bit constipated. If I don't feel better by tomorrow I'll take some laxatives. I had some Fiber One cereal this morning. I do love that stuff!

  • Hey! where did everyone go????

    It's time to get out of the post Turkey day slump and push towards December 1st!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!

    Haha! No, but seriously this was a difficult month for a lot of us I think. And heck if we can make it through November with at least SOME progress, well heck........easy months like March will be simple!!!

    My daughter's birthday was Tuesday....so I had cake and ice cream......the next day I got into a mini cake binge. Duh, who couldn't predict that? The next day was Thanksgiving. I mean, really?? Anyway......I am at 243 now which is one pound up from the beginning of the week. For all of the off plan shenanigans I pulled, I'll take the one pound. I have been to the gym twice since TG already, so hopefully that pound will go away and take a friend or two with it by Thursday!!

    Pockets: Some of that Fiber One stuff is good. I like the FO cereal that says something about 80 calories on the box. I almost always have an "oats and chocolate" FO bar for breakfast (with coffee of course.) It seems to fill me up and it's fast and portable in the morning which I need.

    Kirsten: Congrats on the compliments. They feel so good, right!

  • My scale said 174 today, which would mean 8 pounds for the month. Yay! I celebrated by eating too many of the cinnamon chip cookies I made (they taste sooo good right out of the oven).

  • Congrats on onederland, Wheresmyfeet! And nothing better than home made cookies, Steph7409! Congrats on the loss already, also for Meel4121. Pockets, it will come off and fibers is always a good idea. Startswimming, you are doing so well, hitting the gym, I wish I had the energy and motivation to do the same.

    Yep, i did it. Very happy after the slightly disappointing 3 pounds in october. Bring on the december parties and dinners .
  • Still here, but not happy. I had gotten all the way down to 174.0 and then mysteriously gained a pound and then still am holding the Thanksgiving weight despite not eating TOO huge. Official weigh in is tomorrow, but I'm not hopeful for getting all the way to ten pounds again, but it was still a good month at this point of the journey.

    YEY!! And it's only the 28th, maybe I'll loose the .6 + more and be at 208, which would be awesome! And I WILL loose 10 next month, so I won't be in the 200's at ALL next year!

  • Wow, nice work everyone! Its so exciting to see progress even after Thanksgiving! I made my goal this morning and hope it sticks for the end of the month! I went a bit off plan this weekend but I was still happy with my choices and worked out every day. My next goal is to be 222 on my birthday which is dec 22... probably too ambitious but I like how the numbers line up!

  • Well, I am in a bad way. Derailed, bloated on junk food, feeling like all my effort was wasted, so much so that I "did" something for myself and that, of course, was just as bad. I don't know. I think I have to take the emotion out of things. But, yeah, the challenge is NOT going to be met. Will keep trying on the next one......there will be a next one, right?

  • I'm sorry you're having a hard time, redballoon. For some of us, every day is a challenge! And that's not necessarily a bad thing, because it gives us another opportunity to succeed.
  • Hi all! The month is almost over! Hope everyone had a great November!!
    I only lost 2 lbs as per the scale, but I did go down a size in pants, so I'm doing something right!

  • Does anyone know if there will be a challenge for Dec-Jan? I know that it's hard to complete a challenge during the holidays, but if you all could do it during Thanksgiving, then Christmas should not be too hard.
