Hi all! My computer crashed yesterday and it would NOT work. I was in a near panic as I really need the computer for so much of my freelance work. I brought it to a computer-savvy friend and it is now working but I am way behind and tired. Sunday evening here and I want to call it a day. Hope to catch up soon.
Steph, if you want, I could reduce your photo for you so it would fit as an avatar....

I had a 'bad' diet weekend. I had a blast though! Back on track today. I hope I didn't do to much damage the last 2 days.

Sticking to my calorie limit is getting easier and easier every day and I am finding my new workout regime seems to be working. Went for a 7 mile walk and swam today... sore but in a good way!

A slight change.....
Latest below....making goal is going to be tough I think, unless I see a dramatic drop....

SW: 72 kg
CW: 71.2 kg
GW for Dec. 1: 69.7 kg
(69.6 on my scale since it doesn't register 0.7 kg.)

This is, translated into pounds...

SW: 158.4 lb
CW: 156.6 lb
GW: 153.12 lb

Yay, Redballoon- Scale is finally moving for you! :)

Howellbe- 7 mile walk and swim? Nice!!!

My weight was up but I suspect it was due to the sodium in the cauliflower soup I made last night with chicken broth soo not worrying about it too much and am drinking a lot of water to try to counteract that. Hope everyone was (mostly) OP this weekend!

amandie, yes it is, but it is ridiculously slow for some reason. Really, when I look at the numbers and think it's only like 2 lbs, it is even more discouraging. But, heh, that's just the way it is I guess..... :(

What a minute!! I just realized I miscalculated. I ONLY started this challenge on the 14th and weight loss is supposed to be ONE kg every two weeks, not TWO. I was confusing the pace with pounds. So, changing things around means I am within reach of the goal....welll, maybe.... :^:

SW: 72 kg
CW: 71.2 kg
GW for Dec. 1: 70 kg

This is, translated into pounds...

SW: 158.4 lb
CW: 156.6 lb
GW: 154 lb

Ok, that makes me feel better.... :)

Checking in!

I'm still at 211. I stayed OP through my 2nd Thanksgiving of the year and didnt even gain an oz overnight, I actually dropped .2! YEY! I now have faith that I can keep going, like I planned, even on the actual day. I just have to remember to get my water in and I'm GOOD!

I'm down 7lbs total, and reeeallly close to that being 8. Here's to another lb today!! :D

Sounds like most people are doing incredibly well - keep up the great work!

As for me, not so much. :lol: I have to admit that my resolve has faltered a little over the past week - some off plan days, but nothing horrible. REally eating at more of a maintenance level, but with some poor choices... quite a bit of wine on the weekend as we went away to a cabin at the beach for the weekend with some friends.

So this last 10 days I'm going to bust my a** and see if I can squeeze in 2 or 3 more before the end of the month!

It looks more impressive than it is. Three of those pounds were water weight with TTOM which I knew would come off immediately as they were a recent weight gain, but those three pounds also meant I didn't lose ANYTHING in October, so this is all good and it's getting me closer and closer to my weight loss goal for my birthday.


My update weigh is tomorrow, but I saw 174.0 on the scale this morning!!! Let's hope I can keep it there!!!

Only -4lbs down and now its TOM so I doubt the scale will show anything for the rest of the week now. Oh well, time to work my butt off and see if I can manage a huge drop after TOM is over.

On the other hand YAY! I FINALLY BROKE THE 140'S!
