Cool Lose 10lb by November 1st!

I figured I'd start it this month! Anyone is welcome to jump right in. Most of us will probably not lose the whole 10lb in a month, but any loss is worth celebrating! Let's kick October's butt!

Woohoo!

I kind of have dual challenges going on, and I don't know if it makes sense but my goal is actually to lose 13 lbs by Thanksgiving and I only have 10 lbs to go over the next 2 months.

So .... If I join in this challenge I'm saying I want to lose 10lbs by Nov1st but I also want to lose 10lbs by Thanksgiving .... So I guess I will aim for both - then hopefully I do lose 10lbs by Nov 1st and then I can really up my goal and to try to lose even more than my original goal of 13 lbs by Thanksgiving!

Might seem kind of backwards or weird to do it that way but hopefully it works. Maybe that's just a way of tricking myself - I want to lose 13lbs in the next 2 months but REALLY want to to lose more but I don't want to set a goal too high so I low ball it? I don't know.

All I know is if I lose 10 more lbs by Thanksgiving I'll almost be out of the 160's and I'll have lost about 20lbs and THAT is a pretty incredibly freaking thought!

I really rocked September and I am really ready to ROCK October! LETS DO THIS LADIES AND GENTS!

I was 2lb shy of my goal of 10lb last month, too. But I lost 14lb in August so it evens out

shishkeberrry, Thanks for starting the new thread. I agree, ANY loss is definitely worth celebrating! You did great, and I agree, the weightloss from the last 2 months evens out. You still have 2 lbs left for Oct. Here's to us becoming healthier!

steinanwine, You are so cute! I love how your mind goes all over the place. I am the same way. My husband thinks it is cute! haha Push for 10, and see what you get. Any loss is better than nothing. You will do great! I was born and raised in Chicago. Nice to see another Chicagoan.

I'm in too! I've come up just a few pounds short of 10 the last three months so I am hoping my new workout plan and some advice from my new trainer will super charge October! Here's to staying away from all that Halloween candy!

I'm in 10 pounds will mean I'm no longer morbidly obese which would be so amazing. I hate labels and that would be a great one to leave behind!
