It's time for the 3FC general weigh in thread. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone!
Me: 216, down two and a half pounds from last week.
170.4, down 1.2 pounds from last Friday but I had a goal of making it into the 160s this week. Goofed that one up. But I know why - I indulged in Chick-fil-a (catered for a coworker's birthday) and a cupcake Thursday. Plus, I worked out ONCE since my last weigh-in. (Ridiculous!)
I could have made it happen, but I obviously didn't want it bad enough last week. Good news is that I want it bad enough this week! (I have not weighed in the 160s - apart from a few weeks in 2008 when I did a weight loss work challenge before switching jobs and ballooning up to the 190s - since I was 16 years old!) I'm going to really work at increasing my workouts this week to 3-5 days, and there's no better time for me to start than today because the weekends mean no work and no school to distract me from my goals! Wish me luck!
124.2, down 3lb from a week ago and 1.4lb down from yesterday. I'm having a whoosh after a couple of weeks of stalling, and it'll probably bounce up a little after this sort of drop, but still with a nice overall downward trend.
Welcome aboard, m3k. It's not the first weigh in that really matters, it the followup ones, good or bad, at least to my way of thinking. For me knowing and admitting my weight is a crucial step in not hiding my head in the sand about it. And if I were, I couldn't even begin to think about addressing it. I hope that joining in the weekly weigh in is helpful to you as well!
