Jen,
I have been thinking about you! We are going to be aunts and an uncle!

With your hubby, take a deep breath....just focus on having this baby. Don't name him....take your time. Did you know in Scandinavia where I come from, we wait six weeks to announce the baby's name? That gives parents enough time to feel out different names.
I wish I had followed my own advice. My daughters real name does not match her personality. She has a Finnish nick name that she goes by and fits her 100%. My hubby named her, I did not like it, but let him.

Today hasnt been the greatest day as far as nutrition. I started off really well though. This morning I had a bowl of Kix cereal with 1% milk and a banana on the side. For lunch I had a turkey sandwich with a bag of wise popcorn. For my dinner break at work i had 2 cups on spaghetti which i made myself. Did'nt have wheat noodles so i went with the regular but i used light spaghetti sauce.

Now, my boss took the liberty of making my favorite pumpkin cookies. They are really small and chewy which i LOVE. I ate a few of those as well as a milky way bar lol.

Tonight when i get off work im going to the gym to do some weight training and cardio. Then im going home to eat a bowl of turnip greens my mom made. I love love LOVE my turnips! lol

I'm proud of myself tonight! I came home in kind of a bad mood and had that boredom/restless/irritable eating urge. If I'd had more enticing food in the house I probably would have. But instead I grabbed my dog and phone and headed out the door. I ended up talking to 2 friends and walking for an hour. Apparently I walk really slow while I'm talking and dealing with a dog, but that's besides the point. It was better than no exercise, and I didn't spend that hour stuffing my face. Yay me!

Both my kids saw the doctor today. The little guy for his 6 year well check. This boy remains huge. 50.5" and I think she under measured him. He weighs the same as last year, which is good.

My older son had a medicine check appt for his ADHD. The drug he takes is an appetite suppressant. He is a teenage boy and he is just naturally thin, but he's too thin. 72.5" and 129 lbs with clothes, no shoes. That is just too thin. I think he got the message from the doctor to try to eat more. Us parents saying it isn't as effective of course.

I had a hefty snack before my PM treadmill walk. 1 banana, 2 T sunbutter and a granola thin. Now I am not hungry for my usual but I don't know what I am hungry for. I am afraid if I skip it that I'll go off plan at 10PM (you know how I like to do that every couple of weeks.) Should I eat just a salad or just my turkey patties or something else altogether? I hate to eat when I'm not hungry. How late is too late to wait to eat my usual dinner? It is 7PM now.

Quick check in for me..
I had the MOST AWESOME day..although not in the nutrition category!
Why is it that some days we feel like we can eat whatever is around and another day... not the slightest food interest us?? Strange, I tell you!

MN-7a:--
7a-noon: Powerbar 360
noon-3p: Fiber One Bar 140
3p-7p:--
7p-MN: Grilled BBQ Chicken Strips, Mushrooms, Green Beans, Zucchini 401
Total: 901
40 min: 400 cals
Deficit: Approx 1000 cals

I have to find something else to eat tonight! And, Stacy--I'm in the same Ark you r in tonight! NOT HUNGRY ONE BIT!!

Stacy: In response to your question about "Is it ok to eat so late?" Who told your body what time it is? imo, your body knows cals in and cals burned no matter when you consume them. The only reason your body knows what time it is, is b/c your brain sends a signal to it saying--it's 8am or 10pm or whenever. Otherwise, it wouldn't know it was eating at 8am or 10pm!
