Ginny I think you are going to do great this time. It sounds like you have a plan and even a back-up one so now you just got to put out the effort. It's never easy. But you have what it takes and I know you can do it!!
Today has been a lazy one for me so far. I need to clean the kids' bedrooms and get the dishes that are piling up done and a ton of laundry folded but I just have the "I don't want to's" you know? I know I know, shame on me. Maybe since the kids are down for their nap I'll turn some music on (on low of course) and fold laundry on my bed. What I really need is someone to help me out just one day to get caught up on this house... I was doing well last week but after my DH being home all weekend and he cooked last night (and boy does he leave messes!) my house looks horrible once again. Whine whine... I know But besides that I turn 16 weeks today and am so happy about that. Time is chugging along...
Talk to you all soon!!

Good morning!!
Spryng- you sweetheart........gosh I needed so badly to hear some encouragement today........Dh was on a tear (he claims I am too sensitive- but sometimes he uses those sensitive times to go for the jugular, if you know what I mean). Thanks for giving me some encouragment. I wish that I could come help you fold laundry......or get the house under control (not that mine is!!)- I hear ya. We all have those times when it seems as though another pair of hands would do the trick - and the days are not nearly long enough. You'll catch up, just keep plugging along!!!!!

Latisia! Great to hear from you! Sorry that you gained some (so did I)- but this is a step in the right direction. Late night meals (or for me snacks) are tough, but you can overcome it. I am glad that you are back with us.

No walk for me this am. I am heading upstairs to try out my new Leslie Sansone video that I got for Christmas and have not had the chance to use yet. We got some more snow last nite- and the roads are a bit slippery- and besides I can't go out as I am waiting for the repair service to visit my washer (which broke 12/31).
Gotta go.
Have a great day!

Opps!
I almost forgot............remember how I mentioned how my evening plans get sabotagued??? This one's a hoot. Last nite I wanted to go to a ladies nite out at my church. Dd decided that she had to go to a basketball game......and ;that she was going to drive. I suggested that maybe (it was snowing lightly) I should take her there (which could have worked with my plans) - then she attempted to back the car out of the driveway (which is long and has a curve) She backed the escort right into a snow bank- and it can't be budged!!!!! So, I drove her to her game......but with all the time wasted on trying to get the car out of the snow, I gave up on trying to get to church. Today it all looks pretty silly to me~ and hopefullly my 16 year old driver has a new appreciation for driving (she was getting a bit overconfident, in my book).
See ya!

Good Morning!

Just thought I would make a quick check in! School started yesterday and life is crazy already! Tyler starts Basket Ball today and both kids are just getting over some hum-dinger of colds!

I did get my workout in the other day.. but nothing since. My eating is on track.. I did splurge a tad last night with some homemade icecream... but I didnt eat nearly as much as I normally do. now it is out of the house... so I am happy!

I will check in later to see how everyone is doing and to respond! I have to go get the little one up so we wont be late for school!

Hugs!

Hello!

I'm a little on the tired side, but decided to check in anyways. I didn't do too good with my food choices today. Oh well, I can start over tomorrow, right? My morning didn't start out too well for me. DS missed the bus, so we quick got in the car so that I could hurry him up to a nearby stop. I was in such a hurry that I left my purse, cell phone & coat at home. (I left in my pj's & slippers) I then remembered that I needed gas & I figured it was way...too late! I managed to catch up with the bus & get ds on it. Then....the car started to putter & I eventually ran out of gas! Thank goodness, I managed to coast right into my driveway & park in front of my garage! How's that for luck? I'm happy to report that I now have a full tank of gas. (I bet you liked that one, didn't you Ginny?) Well, the rest of my day went quite well & I actually was in a pretty chipper mood! Spryng: Sorry to hear that your house was such a shambles. If it makes you feel any better, mine doesn't look so good either. I guess the little purple Flylady fairy needs to pay us a visit, huh? Little by little, I'm chipping away at it. The Christmas stuff is just about packed away. As for your dh making a mess in the kitchen: I sure wish my dh was talented/ambitious enough to cook my family a meal once in awhile. Besides cooking something on the grill, he hasn't prepared an entire meal for me in over 14 years! One last thing Spryng: Thanks for believing in me that I'll get the recumbent bike going again. Ginny: Can you send some of that white stuff our way? My dd keeps whining every day because we hardly have any! Good for you that you are trudging through the stuff too! You always hated the warm weather, didn't you? As for our challenge: I have to kick it in gear to make the l0# by 2/14 too! Sorry to hear that you didn't get a chance to have an evening out the other night. I finally had a night out tonight & went to a rubber stamping camp. Ask me about my first winter of driving, okay? Latisia: It's great to hear from you again! May I ask what kind of illness you had? How's your little boy doing? Drop us another line when you get the time, okay? Karen: Good job on only having a small serving of your homemade ice cream! Do you have a machine at home? What flavor was it? I hope you made it worth the extra cals! Also: Good for you getting your exercise in! Well gals, I'm getting so tired that I'm getting sick, so I'll close for now. Good night!

Good morning!!
Well, I had to come on here this early, as my phone is dead (the other line) and I wanted to email my mother to make sure she knew about it (she is widowed and gets panicky if she can't get thru).
So a quick hello........and some quick responses.
Jackie- so glad you posted. I love that coasting into the driveway ordeal, and yes I have done the same thing with driving a kid in my jammies. Shall I give you a mini lecture about chasing a school bus????? (just kidding!) Karen- today is another day and you can get that workout in today instead!, right? (We can all use that advice!) Hang in there getting back to the school routine...homework and all that nonsense!

Gotta go get into breakfast mode here and then off to drive my big yellow limo. Have a great day!
Ginny (opps, forgot to mention, I love the new Leslie Sansone tape I got)

What a fun day I had!!!!! I got to work.......and found out that I had been ramdomly picked for mandatory drug testing. (which, fortunately for me was just a few minutes past where I was getting my hair cut this am........) So I have hardly been home today. I am beat- and now that I have gotten Ds home from skiing I am going to get into my jammies and get some sleep!
Hope everyone is doing fine. Have a great nite.

Good afternoon all!
Jackie I'm glad to hear you made it to your home before the car died. Boy have we been there before. Not in my jammies though.
How is everyone doing today? I hope all is good and OP. I'm really routing for you guys for your 2/14 challenge.
I'm doing good. My house is back in order except for dishes and laundry today. But hopefully my DH lives up to his promise and finishes dishes tonight and I'll get on the laundry pile I'm just too tired to do it all by myself now a days. Sad I know. But at least the house is picked up, vacuumed, and dusted. Looks 1000 times better than the last time I posted. We have a big family reunion type dinner to attend tomorrow. I think it may turn out to be more of a family squabble than a good time but you never know until you are there. I'm making a pasta dish and rolls to take and am actually looking forward to it. The main dish will be a huge prime rib roast and ham. I've never had prime rib so I'm curious to try it.
Well, that is about it here. We went to Kansas City yesterday afternoon and did some price comparing at Baby depot and I really can't wait to start buying all those baby things again. They have the cutest outfits there. So after I find out what we are having in feb I'll start my shopping. I'm getting giddy just thinking about it.
Well, talk to you all later! Have a wonderful day!

Good morning!!!!!
Spryng- I hope that you have a great time at that family reunion.
Prime rib is pretty good- and can be great (and probably will be in the mid west as you are!) if you enjoy eating beef. Shopping for baby stuff is so much fun......babies are so sweet.........and I am so happy for you.

This whole week has been a bit rough....Dh came home in a nasty mood and then to top it all off the special order vanity top for the bathroom that just came in is wrong. (He is furious.......) so we will be back at Lowe's today. Ds also has a basketball game.

I am going to take advantage of being the only one awake (except for RC, the cat, who is sitting up on the monitor watching me type) and do some quiet reorganizing.

Take care and have a great day!
Ginny

Hello Ladies!

I cant believe that I've been away for so long!?! The holidays really took a toll on me, and I also came down with a stomach virus to top it off! But I'm better now, just trying to get back OP and get moving again! As for me staying OP for the holidays, I didn't, and after 29 week of losses, I had a gain in week 30. I gained 2.6 lbs. but I'm hoping it'll come right off, SOON, but I'm still a little under the weather so we'll see?

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
