Default 3 day progress

So I started counting my calories and fat since Monday. I have made it 3 days I have been eating around 1500-1700 calories a day versus my 3000 that I use to eat! I just did a 45 minute workout on my exercise bike. Feeling pretty good, I just have to keep this up.....I have a long way to go

Good for you!! Just remember it's a marathon and not a sprint - the sooner you wrap your head around the fact that this needs to be a lifestyle change and not just a quickie diet, the easier it will become to settle into the changes and not struggle as much with them

Congrats!! I feel like the first few days of 'getting into the groove' are hardest. After that, once you have a while of eating/exercising on-plan it gets a bit easier. If you ever feel yourself wavering, just remember how good it feels to eat/exercise right and how you don't want to undo what hard work you've already done. Good luck!!

Congrats. I agree that the first few days are the hardest when you're trying to make changes to the way you eat. It's an adjustment. It's a long way to go, but we're all gonna get there if we keep up. So, keep it up.

The only way I have survived this time compared to the other times I tried to lose weight was making mini-goals. I focused too much on the big picture in the past and it was so incredibly daunting I got frustrated and gave up. Now that I have mini-goals to look forward to and celebrate, the emotional piece of dieting has been so much easier to deal with. And for me, that was my biggest issue. And I decided that I just need to be really really patient and just roll with whatever comes my way. I know I am doing a lot more for myself now than I ever have and THAT is what is making me feel good.

You have had a WONDERFUL 3 days and before you know it, you'll be coming back here posting about your past 3 months!

:-)
