eat clean food and try and get in what exercise you can. swimming and walking as much as you can will help your foot heal faster just don't over do it. aside from that you can still lift weights and for cardio you can do punches. being injured sucks but if you getting your eating under control and do what you can you can still loose weight. at 283 you should easily be able to loose weight eating 1600-1800 even without exercise. if you eat healthy you can get pretty stuffed on that many calories. just avoid the junk and you should be fine. try and stay positive. everything will work out.
