Default Losing weight fast -proof?

Hi everyone!

I've lost 9lbs since I started again this month, after a 2 month break. It's quite fast for me as before I would lose only 1lb a week, now I'm losing over 2 a week!

Of course, no complaint here. I just have a question.

Since I don't trust the scale too much, every time I have a loss I make sure to take my measurements. Sure enough, I always lost somewhere. Right now I measure the following:

Calf
Upper Arm
Chest
Waist
Hips
Thigh

So my question to you wonderful people is: Does the fact my measurements went down, solidify that I probably did lose that pound on the scale?

I don't really understand the question. Your scale shows a 9 pound loss. Your measurements are smaller. Unless you're going to get a full body scan once a month, you have to trust that you've lost weight. Those things don't just happen if in reality you're the same weight.

I don't trust the scale and I guess I want some reassurance that the measurements are accurate and prove I did indeed lose.

A lot of people don't use scales and go by measurements or differences in how their clothing fits. It sounds like you're doing well

I would go by measurements because i was spinning 4 times a week and my weight stayed the same, however my thighs and hips went down in inches.

I wasn't trying to sound snotty. I honestly didn't understand what other kind of proof beyond measurements you were looking for. Sorry.

Your measurements can change without weight loss. Your body ususally doesn't do both at the same time.

Oh no, don't worry, I didn't see it like that. Just wanted to explain it better when I replied to you.
