I know I've seen a few of these around here, but thought that since it was officially October we could start a Halloween Pact thread.
I, freespirit, will abstain from eating
any Halloween candy this year. Just because it comes in a cute little size with bats and pumpkins on the wrapper does
NOT mean it tastes any different. It is
NOT special. I
CANNOT have
just one. It is all crap and not worth my money or the effort it takes to open the wrapper, and my body doesn't deserve to be filled with that.
However, I will allow myself to enjoy healthy homemade pumpkin soup, or steamed root vegetables, or warm baked apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon because I DESERVE healthy, in season, yummy food.
