roxanne - Yikes! Stats sounds awful. Just power through and reward yourself with a celery stick or something

Quick check in:
Have been laying low on food today - too nervous about a job interview tomorrow *nailbite* . I guess this is good for my diet though

B - 2 crips bread with 1 tsp 0.2% cream cheese and jam, coffee with 3oz. low-fat milk

L - fruit salad (nectarine and apple) with 70g 0.2% curd, 15g chopped pecans and 20 raisins (yes, I counted )

S - Latte with 3.5oz low-fat milk

D - 100g chicken breast (grilled), eggplant and mushrooms

Did a 30min power walk and had about 1.5 liter of water.

VAMOS!

roxanne: How do you make baked green tomatoes? I would LOVE to know. I'm in the deep south and FRIED green tomatoes are a summer tradition that I haven't let myself have in a while. Yum!

Well today has been much better for me by allowing myself to add veggies to my diet. I feel so much more satisfied, mentally and physically, lol. I went to the grocery store this afternoon and stocked up on cabbage, green beans, spinach, mushrooms, onions, edamame, and zuchinni. I even made some hummus! I probably shouldn't have because I'm not supposed to have oil, even olive oil. Oh well, at least I dipped it with celery. It was delicious!

Here was my day:
Mocha shake
Turkey Chili with sauteed onions and green beans cooked in beef broth
Chocolate shake
Hummus with 3 celery stalks
Entree TBD with cabbage
Shake TBD

PA: Eliptical while watching Family Guy tonight

Have a good night, guys!

Cinni: Good luck tomorrow!!

Raven: http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/baked-...es/Detail.aspx
Never tried baking them before, this is going to be a new experience for me. My kids have never had them but I loved them when I was a kid living in Texas. In Washington people look at you like you are insane! lol

Oh and stats suck! Lol 7 hours on stats alone and I only got a 76 off my test. sigh. I am so done with it for today. I've got 4 more assignments and 3 more tests. I can't take anymore! lol

Hi all..

Well I'm down 5.2, even with TOM, but blew it food wise today with some mindless snacking.

DH works at a beer distributor & they give away all the soon to be expired junk food. So you know he brought home bags & bags of stuff I never buy (or really even think about).

Did 4 miles on my bike & took the dogs out on 2 small walks (cold & rainy = wet smelly dogs).

Great job to everyone who lost, ate right & exercised.

I'll join.

I just started using Fitday again, and after I input everything, I realized I've only eaten about 900 calories, including the cupcakes/goodies that I thought was going to take me WAAAAAAY over. That bothers me. I thought I ate a TON today, and I ate at regular intervals. Apparently not enough. I was eating until I was full, but it was mostly raw veggies. I think that's why I've been binge eating at night. It would also explain the headaches I've been getting. I guess I need to watch what I eat during the day more closely so I don't end up binging at night.

I don't know whether I should go ahead and eat something before bed to bump me up to 1200 calories (my goal) or wait until tomorrow.

tortilla chips/hummus - 250-300
Grilled turkey/cheese/veggies sandwich w/fries/ketchup - 900 (last minute dinner with my mom after seeing the house)

Diana thanks I like white rice better also Thanks for the nutrition facts

Penguin I love graham crackers

Stacy it's funny when people see us and don't know what to say ... but when they do it's so great to hear their positive feedback and see their faces, Keep up the great work

Dallas I misplaced my journal also, I know had I stayed on point it would have still been on the kitchen island. Good thing is it's a spiral notebook that I started so I started another one. I made four of them with 3 months each to get me through to the end of my journey had I stayed on plan Just saw a new OJ called Trop 50 gonna give it try 50 calories and 10g of sugar. Best of luck to you on your job hunt Glad you like the house

Hi Ja and Lindsey

Hey Roxanne don't you hate it when you forget to eat? Then with me when I do eat it seems it's never enough so I just keep on snacking. Start of a bad eating day. Good job on staying on track with your eating. I would have definitely not done good

Raven love me some good ole homemade chili, yumm ... don't add to many things at once you don't want to set an imbalance in your diet and not be happy with the results, hope I'm not out of line, just trying to be helpful

MrsSoCo congrats on the 5.2 down ... snacking gets me also poor doggy's if they only knew what we thought about them when they get all wet but we still love 'em.

LOL Shells, welcome back
