I weigh myself almost every day, but I start my weekly weight on Mondays and I go from there.
today I'm so close to 206, i weighed in at 207.00, so Im thinking tomorrow I might be down to 206 or if I keep my fingers crossed 205.
I know every morning i get up and I go to the restroom then I weigh myself naked. I read somewhere this is your truest weight. I was wondering how the rest of you go about weighing yourselves.
Vixsin--may I ask what you're doing? i would freak if I lost 6 pounds in a week. the most I've had is 2! lol. and yay!! ON your weight loss!!

Hi Mickey!! Welcome to our Monday weigh in thread!! We're glad to have you here!!!
I am a calorie counter like many of the other folks here on 3FC. I plan out most all of my meals and snacks. I have gotten rid of any tempting foods in my house. I am almost psycho about what I eat now. I still have occassional treat foods but ONLY in moderation. I also am an avid poster on the Binge free challenge thread because I am also a binge eater. I started there just trying to make it through a consecutive number of days without binging and then it started to fall into place for me. Since I wasn't binging, I needed to figure out what I should eat, how much, and how often. Here's a link to the latest thread: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...-9-5-10-a.html
I had to play with my numbers for my calories. I actually had to raise my number and that's when the weight loss really started. it's funny to think that I had to eat MORE to lose weight. LOL
Be happy with those 1's and 2's!! It's not easy to lose weight and obviously you're doing a great job.
I'm really glad you found us and I look forward to getting to know you.
yeah, I think I need to be eating more. I slipped one day ( hectic day) and had taco bell and I didn't exercise that day and I actually didn't gain any weight.
im new here and my weigh in day is also Mondays!! sense today was my start day i guess ill just start with that 184 here, hopefully 179 next week sense i know people drop a lot of water weight their 1st week. im going to love this accountability!!
Hi Kids!!!!! Our little Monday Weighers thread is getting bigger! I LOVE it!!
Nicole: Yay to you for starting your journey and joining us on this thread. We're glad you're here! Hoping for good numbers for you next week!!
Mickey: You should google "BMR calclulator" you'll have to plug in things like your weight, age, gender and it will tell you an approximate number of calories that you will burn simply by existing. For example, my bmr is approx 1870 so I try to eat between the 1500 - 1600 range. That gives me a good calorie deficit and then when I add in some exercise my deficit gets even bigger. It's all a numbers game to me. Someone on here gave me this link and I think you may find it helpful as I did. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/1821967-post2.html
Robin: Hi!!!! and Go you on that 6lbs!!!! You should feel so proud of yourself. That is a great job! Of course you can join in!!! We look forward to your posts on your progress!
Michelle: what a great week YOU had to!!!! We love the losses, don't we?
Again, really glad all of you are here! I look forward to more posts from you!
I weigh every single day and write it down. However, as you can see in my signature, I officially record my Monday morning weight. I put it in my signature and my profile current weight thing over under my name, and also record it in my weekly weight graph on Excel. The Monday weight is kind of my official weight for the week.
My maintenance plan is currently eating clean with a calorie deficit like when I was still losing from Sunday-Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, I eat whatever I want to. Ice cream, pizza, Chinese, whatever. As long as it's on Friday and Saturday and within a decent amount of moderation (as in, I'm not going to have a whole pizza for dinner, but I'll have two or three pieces). On Sunday I eat clean and eat light and drink lots of water to flush out the sodium. Monday morning, I weigh.
The Monday weigh in keeps me accountable for my weekend. Sure, I can go a little nuts and eat what I want, BUT I have to face the facts and record that number on the scale no matter what it is. So far, I've been maintaining and staying well within my maintenance range so it seems to be working
