DKNY makes a great jean for the curvy shape.

Another pear here! I finally got a little closer to proportioned evenly with the last 15 pounds. I think I'm more so than when I was a teen ager. I do a lot of treadmill on a steep incline. I know they say you can't spot lose, but I think it has helped tighten it up. I'm a 6/8 on the bottom and a 6 on top. I can finally wear straight skirts. I wasn't able to when I was this weight before, which hasn't been since I was 16 years old. I still have the heavier thighs and hips in comparison to the top half though, I get pretty bony up top. The boobs went with the last 20 pounds, and I am in mourning over them

Another pear shape here! It's annoying to be so much smaller on top than on the bottom, I won't lie. However, when I'm at an ideal body weight, I think men find that sort of thing appealing....at least my hubby does. I'm pretty sure he'd prefer if I had a more ample bosom, but hey, you can't have it all, hey?

As far as weight loss, I still lose on my lower body, but it seems very slow and it also is hard to notice since the upper body is going down so much faster. However, I am fitting now into size 10's and 12's whereas before, was barely squeezing into 18's! I would say that my upper body is probably a size 6 or 8. I'm not done yet, so I hope to get down to a size 8/10 for pants.

Another pear shape here.... I'm about 20 lbs from goal, and if i lean forward I can see the bones out of my back, and i can see my ribs if I'm laying flat. The first place I usually lose is my stomach and chest.

Wild Vulpix - I'm with you. I find the stubbornness of my thighs annoying, but I also agree that pears often look thinner than those women heavier on top. Think about it - when you're talking to people you're looking at their face/top half, so I feel those with a larger top half normally look bigger than they usually are. A coworker of mine I always thought was about 20 lbs heavier than she really is, and I think it's because she's always sitting at her desk, and I can only see her top (and larger) half. The other day when she was walking in front of me was when I realized how tiny her legs are, and that she weighs much less than I originally thought.

Also, I think a tiny top half makes me feel feminine and dainty! Maybe I'm weird??
