Taking pictures of yourself is a great way to keep motivated and track your progress visually. Sometimes you weigh the same (or more) on the scale but you can notice that your body is toning up.

Can give you incentive to keep on pushing on.

Hmm, sounds like a great idea. I'm kind of mortified of bad pictures of myself but it probably would make me feel better when I lose even more weight.

I took before pics of myself in a sports bra top and undies, SCARY! I plan on taking them every 8 weeks when I also take my measurements. The scale is not the only indicator of our hard work!

As far as celebs, I find it oddly comforting that the super skinny, fit women also have to work at staying that way. Sometimes in my head I tell myself that they have it so easy being skinny and they can eat what they want and not work out, and poor me has to schlep around the gym in my sweats and eat salads and grilled chicken. In reality, I know that they also have to work to keep their figure, and it strangely makes me feel better
