and I have that SAME problem with the jacuzzi tubs!!
|
Calisa, first of all, your signature made me laugh. Move fishie move! Haha.
Anyways, I was not aware that any female could buy clothes without trying them on first. For me, it's not even just about size (too tight, too tight in certain spots, zippers not zipping etc) it's just fit in general. I can very comfortable fit into many clothes, but not all of them will be flattering enough for me to want to pay money for them, lol. I doubt I'll change there. Anyways! Another one I thought of that's actually pretty obvious and not too crazy. I look forward to WANTING to have my picture taken. As it is, I will like maybe 1/50 pictures taken of me. I look at a picture and think "if only I was sucking in a little bit more" or "if I was angled to the side, my thighs wouldn't look so huge." I'm looking forward to posing for the camera without worrying where every inch of my flub is. |
Looking forward to taking the kids I know to amusment parks or fairgrounds and not having to REALLY REALLY suck it in to get latched in to the Sizzler. LOL
And being more comfortable when I fly to Atlanta, Georgia for Dragon*Con 2010! :-D |
it's not that crazy, but I'm really, really looking forward to the day when I don't feel obliged to include "big" near or next to "woman" when describing myself.
|
I'd like to look good when interviewing. When I'm overweight, I just feel frumpy. Right now, I feel like I would look elegant no matter what I wear. :)
|
Sunni, I definitely agree about the interviewing thing!! In fact, that was actually a major motivator for me to start losing weight!
|
When I decided I wanted to lose weight, I made this whole list of reasons for losing the weight, so that I would remember when my motivation was wavering...
Here's one that fits nicely with this thread: wearing just 1 body towel after a shower. =) I can't wait! |
It is great when your clothes get smaller. I was looking for my dress to wash, and I looked all over the house, constantly passing this small bundled piece of cloth sitting on a chair. Only to realize... that was actually my dress and not a pair of underwear, lol.
I'm looking forward to having a nice curve at the bottom of my butt, lol. |
I'm looking forward to having a butt! lol
Right now, my back fat is so huge that my butt looks practically concave! |
Love this thread!
My clothes looking better on me because they'll be looser and not feel like i'm bulging out of them |
Also, I totally agree with everyone who says to leave the lights on.
If it's your weight you're worried about, let me tell you a secret: YOUR MAN ALREADY KNOWS HOW BIG YOU ARE. HE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T CARE. Haha. Really though? You should be proud of yourself for taking charge of your life...and part of being this new take charge kinda chick is taking charge in your love life! Leave those lights on, sexy ladies! |
I leave the lights on! :)
So Cassieroll what differences do you notice from your starting wiefht of 200? |
Alright ladies, 25 lbs down and last night I did not turn away when changing for bed. Baby steps, right?! :o
Redreine, you're looking forward to having a butt, and I'm SO looking forward to mine shrinking! You know those commercials about "you are what you eat" where they stick big old donuts on the woman's rear. That's me! |
I can't wait till I can open my before baby draw of lingere! And to raid Victoria secret as a reward and go to buy clothes and not mind my husband grabbing stuff and asking me to try it on! And yes ladies even with 45lb of fat on me I must say hubby dearest likes the lights on still... Its ALL in the ATTITUDE(impish grin) haha
|
I know my guy likes the lights on, and I know he thinks I'm beautiful at my size (he last saw me at my highest weight), and I know men are blind to the little imperfections that we obsess over. But it's ME that wants the lights off, lol. My self image has improved quite a bit in the last few months though, so that may have changed.
I have 9 more months to improve my self image before I have to worry about leaving the lights on. Stupid Iraq!!! One weird thing that I looked forward to, and have now achieved, is having my Wii Fit tell "You're normal!!" instead of "You're overweight!" For some reason, I was really offended when that playful little voice pointed out this obvious fact. When it finally weighed me and said I was normal, I was like "Hah! Take that Wii Fit, I'm NORMAL now!" |
