take that Wii fit! lol Here is to being normal! Just finished my workout and feel soooo pumped...on to start the day!

ImGoinDown 12-27-2009 11:58 AM

Oh man, that's another one. To feel comfortable with the lights on.

We tend to get it in whenever and sometimes lights off isn't an option. But I sure can't wait to actually WANT him to leave the lights on.

I can't wait until my clothes no longer have X's on them...

Plus, I can't wait until I can run, dance and roller skate without feeling the flab bounce around.

And more importantly, I can't wait until my boyfriend can hug me and I can let him rub my back without stopping him so he wouldn't feel the rolls.

I found this absolutely adorable!

I think if I were to step on a Wii Fit, it would cough, hack, then keel over. ;)

I want to get some mileage out of a stupidly expensive skirt that I only wore once before gaining weight again. I wore it last Christmas and I plan to wear it next year. Maybe the goal isn't so crazy, but the cost of the skirt was. lol

luckymommy 12-27-2009 10:35 PM

I have a really gorgeous skirt that I bought when I was very thin and I haven't worn it even once because it was on sale and by the time the season came around (spring/summer), I could not longer fit into it. This time, I'm hoping that by spring/summer, I'll fit into it perfectly! :) :) :) It's crazy because this is the kind of skirt you would wear to a baby shower or something, so I hope someone I know will invite me to some occasions where it would be appropriate! If not, I'll have to make up a reason! ;)

redreine 12-28-2009 12:35 AM

lucky, your excuse to wear it should just be, "Hey I want to wear this."

bensempress 12-28-2009 12:56 AM

I'm ready to stop being uncomfortable by the flab... I can't jump rope because I hate the feel of my upper belly flabbing as I jump.

I can't stand any activity that requires my complete acknowledgement of the flab! lol

redreine 12-28-2009 01:16 AM

I look forward to my stomach not hanging out from every single shirt I wear.

I look forward to people not making fun of me for my weight.

I look forward to jumping without looking gross.

I look forward to seeing cute outfits, and actually being able to pull them off.

luckymommy 12-28-2009 05:37 AM

Redreine, I think you're right! I will just go ahead and wear the darn thing! ;) Regarding those awful people that make fun of your weight.....I believe in Karma. They'll get theirs. I wish there weren't any bad people on this planet, but there are. Anyway, just hang in there and never think of yourself as looking "gross," no matter what you're doing.

I have the opposite problem! I have two beautiful dresses that are starting to get too big, but they have spaghetti straps and I've never worn them because I look horrible in spaghetti staps. So yesterday I found a little black half jacket to wear them. I just told DH we need to go on a date before I can no longer wear these dresses. :D I suppose for the purpose of this thread, I should be looking forward to not being able to wear these dresses. :dizzy:

Here's one: I can't wait to walk in the store and know, for the most part, that I am a size /blank/!! Take yesterday to understand my frustration:

I went to Fashion Bug determined to walk out with a pair of pants and a shirt that actually fit this new body. :D I love their Right Fit line. Size 1 fits but is loose, and since I'm losing I wanted to buy something a little tight. So I asked what's smaller than a 1. A size 13 of course?? :?: There were no 13's so I moved on to "regular" sizes. Ha! 16W's were too big, 16's wouldn't button and one pair of 16 wouldn't even go on my leg!! For shirts, one XL was painted over my chest and another was dripping huge on me.

I don't particularly enjoy shopping anyway, so this frustration was just really disappointing.

redreine 12-28-2009 03:01 PM

We have a store here called Deb's, and that store frustrates me.

I typically get an XL wherever I go, but not Deb's. There, I'm an XXXL. :(

Also, they're one of those stores that (and I really don't get this) have adorable clothes for thin girls, and adorable clothes for very large girls, but everything in between is hideous...like they couldn't be bothered!

Hrmph! :|

Aclai4067 12-28-2009 03:23 PM

I look forward to not having to evaluate the length of my shirt before lifting my arms above my head for any reason.

This reminded me of something. I told my bf last week, that I can't wait until the wii fit BMI bar moves from the very top. Even though I've lost almost 20 pounds...the bar that moves up and down the BMI scale is stuck on the very top. >.<

I can't wait until I can see something nice at the clothing store and grab it off the rack without wondering if it will fit. Or looking at the back of the rack to see if they have it in my size.
