Thanks for the party Marlana. I enjoyed every minute of it. You know I think that was the closest to a NON-fat party that I will have the honor of attending. LOL Thank you so much. Well TOM is visiting for the week(time of the month). Yet this morning when I hopped on the scale it read 199. I jumped off then on again and it said 198.5. So I will stick with the 199. I am just tickled pink that I am actually in the 100s now!

Well I got the call today that the College I attend want me to start working on the 19th. Can anyone say sleep deprived? Today is going to be tough tonight at work. But I have to get my groove going. I think working at my evening job has helped the scale moving in the right direction again. Because I will tell you my lower abs feel it everytime I take a good stretch. But today is going to be tough because I had to get up and go sign some papers at my college and then I had a parent/teacher conference with my 2nd grader's teacher. I was able to have lunch with my 1st grader while I was there. I am crossing my fingers that the meatloaf I ate in the cafeteria does not stick around too long. LOL I sure would hate all that work to be blown out of the water over some meatloaf. YIKES!

I must go get things ready the kids will be home soon. Thank you all again for your many congratulations. I hope you all enjoyed my NON-fat party. LOL Marlana sure knows how to through a party...you go girl! Bye.

Hello....dh is in the other room gripping over a letter, cussing over it actually. I don't care to hear about it cause I'm all stressed out over this insurance business.

As for my food plan, well, its kinda touch and go. Its the same way with exercising (gag). I just don't deal with stress very well and I just want to eat. I'm eatting a MilkyWay right this minute and you know, I don't really care about my food plan. I'm just in a bad way today. I know, excuses, excuses. I should be able to do this.

Marlana, I'm so happy you heard from Cassie. I know that has to be a load off your mind. I just cant imagine your daughter leaving her little girl like that for a couple months to work. I imagine your probably pretty ticked at her for that. We havent gotten any rain but its much cooler here. Last week was downright horrible. Hopefully it stays decent for a few weeks. Gosh, before long, it'll be fall. Time just flies anymore.

Kina, congrats on reaching your first goal. You know, I've seriously dieted a couple times and got down almost to 200 and then I blow it and blow up again. I can't even make myself get on the scale right now. I'm to scared to see how bad it is. Congrats on doing so well. You do deserve a party.

Skeeter, How are your legs doing? Have you made a Dr's appointment yet? I can remember loving VBS (gosh, thats been so long ago, I"m surprised I even remember it). I think most kids do like it. I hope your back to your old self soon.

Sally, we're still lookin for insurance. One problem we've got is our roof. We've not had any problems with leaking or anything but one insurance co said its bad. I don't think its that bad, it is an ugly pink gray shingle which I think is bad and a couple of the boards underneath are dipped a bit but like I said, no leaks or anything. But we knew we'd have to have a new roof one of these days but I know it won't be done before our insurance is up.

Well, I'm going to get out of here now. Take care everyone. Hopefully I'll make it back in here sooner.

Hi everyone!

Yay for you Kina! I am so happy for you! I remember when I hit 200, it took me a couple of weeks to realize it was real and by the time I got it, I was halway through to my 190 goal. The ten pound goals, I think, are a great way to go. Now, if only I can get to my next ten pound goal!

Jo Jo - I hope your situation gets better soon! I can't stand insurance people. First they soak you every month and get away with it, and then when you actually need them, they dump you like garbage! If I weren't afraid my house would burn down or if I could bike to everything, I'd dump THEM! Just remember, the Milky Ways will end up making you feel WORSE, not better. Find a snack or treat yourself to a dinner that you have wanted for a while that is allowed on your diet. Then you'll feel treated and you'll feel good for being OP.

My poundage has been sitting at 163 for a few weeks now. I was 161 for a week, but then I started doing all weight lifting and no aerobics. The bad thing is the scale hasn't registered any weight loss, the good news is my measurements have gone down AND I can see my muscles! There's enough fat gone that my quads are bulging. My back looks much better. Around my thighs and butt, it looks like I have a shapely body with pockets of fat here and there, just waiting to be taken off! Not the prettiest sight, but better than all fat/no muscle! I added the cardio back into my routine, so not I'm doing 25 minutes of weights and 25 minutes of low-impact cardio a day, five times a week. I might take cardio off a day or two, but first I want to see if it will make a difference.

Have a great day everyone! It's Friday!!!!

Talking

Hey Everyone

I am starting to get back into my old routine and feeling better. I have been playing catch up all week and still haven't. I have been doing a lot better with food but still not back OP totally. It is sure hard to turn loose of those snacks and sweets.

Marlana~I sure enjoyed that party that you threw for Kina. I had fun and didn't add any extra calories. We have had some cooler weather the last couple of days here too. I even went out this morning and worked in my plants a while. I am trying to start some new geraniums because mine are getting leggy. I have some purple ones in two varieties and I'd like to start some new plants. I'm afraid that I won't be able to find those colors next year. I'll post another picture taken at my front steps of the screened porch that shows a little of my front yard and the dirt road.

Kina~You sure sound like a very busy lady. I can't imagine taking care of 4 kids, going to college and working too. I thing that sleep deprived is putting it mildly. I am retired, have two poodles a parrot and 5 bettas and still can't find enough time for this computer. I need to get my act together and get my food under control. You are going to pass me up before I even get started.

JoJo~I sure hope that you find an insurance company soon. It seems like there is always something going on to add stress to our lives. My legs still ache but not as bad and my right knee isn't getting any better. This whole business is sure making me feel old. I also haven't weighed myself in over a week. Today is my best day so far in the food department. I have actually done really good today now that I think about it. I hope I don't blow it with a bad snack tonight.

Amber~You have just done so well and I am so proud of you. I tried the Atkins plan a few years ago but I was one of the few that can't lose weight on it. My husband lost 30# while I was stagnant. It was depressing for me so we switched to WW. It works really well for me if I stay on it. I am to blame not the food plan.

Y'all have a good weekend. That is a cement pelican on a cement post by my porch rail. DH has a lot of stuff like that all through the gardens. He loves them. That red thing is a red goose windmill. An old man at our church makes them.

Default Knock Knock

Hi everybody. I hope to see everyone is looking forward to the weekend. Woo hoo. I have to work this evening but I will be looking forward to Sunday. I will be spending quality time with the family . I don't get to do that very much now that I am working. I will start working my day job on the 19th, at the college.

On a happier note, I am happy to say that I have lost 4 lbs since last Saturday. I hope to NEVER find them ever. I think I will be at my goal before September 1.

I am happy to listen to everyones life stories. I don't know every in and out of you all but listening is a great way to get to know a person. Many happy thoughts go out to all of you. Don't forget to look in the mirror and SMILE at yourself. No, I didn't say laugh. LOL.

Today's weight: 197.5
Bye. Kina

Hi everyone

Its been a nice day. I went out to Hobby Lobby to look for some more beads since today is the last day of 50 percent off on them. Then I went grocery shopping and then came home. Not very exciting. Its a little warm but its not real humid so I can handle this weather. Dh is wanting to go to the fair tonight so thats probably what we'll do. I crave certain foods during the fair and today I was thinking that cotton candy sounds so good but I doubt if I get any, for one thing, I won't want to pay what they are charging for it. The pork patio has pork kabobs and I thought I might have one of those.

Kina, congrats on losing 4 more pounds. Thats great. I hope you never find them to. I did try out this new exercise video I bought and it was one I thought I could do ok. It is a small step to getting myself going again. I hope you have a great weekend.

Sally, you probably didn't do as bad with the food as you think you might of. I hope you have a good weigh in.

Skeeter, I was so worried about what would happen if we can't get our insurance switched in time and the bank told me they have a "blanket" policy to cover us for 90 days. That was a huge relief. Having your grandkids must of really wore you out. I'm glad you are getting back to your old self again. Hopefully your knee starts feeling better soon. Your front yard looks so pretty. I wish I was good at working with flowers and gardening.

Amber, I almost feel like lying when I call an insurance co and say I don't have a dog but so far I've not been able to do that. All I tell them is she is a heinz 57 and I'm not lying about that cause she is a mixed breed. This just totally sucks. I asked my insurance man what they would do if I said I'd gotten rid of my dog and he said they'd come out and inspect several times, question our neighbors, etc...probably check our yard for dog poop. We'll find something.

Well, I'm going to get off here now. Just wanted to come in and say hey to you all. Take care.

Morning Ladies~~It's almost 7 AM and I've been on this puter since 3:30, needless to say I'm near blind now. But better write to you before you forget who I am. I finally got another PI lesson done and got my new address's put in. I hate to change again, but I have to.......Guess what ladies, that's as for as I got, I had to take a nap, I got so sleepy. I have had such a good ISP. But guess what I left my puter on line and it's still there, it didn't knock me off line while I napped. I like that. And guess what else, I had a cheap ISP already, 9.95, well this one is 5.95. I couldn't believe it myself. I thought I would have to pay at least 20.00. I've had a phone service for about 4 years now that I pay 34.00 a month for to call anywhere in my area code so therefore I could hook up to a ISP in Tulsa, now I have to hook up in a small town. Maybe it will come out ok, except for those who gripes about having to change it in their address books.

Kina~~your so welcome for the party, I hope we get to give another one for your final goal. Your doing so good I know it's just a matter of time. Your going to be busy with a job and little kids too. Just don't forget about yourself in all the rush. Kina you lose weight like I used to. I just read your second post. CONGRATS ON ANOTHER 4 POUND LOSS. We'll be having another party before you know it.

Jo Jo~~Girl I don't deal well with stress either. And I sure get my share of it. Yes I am ticked at my daughter, but not as much as my hubby. I actually heard her voice on Friday. I had been outside all afternoon and I seen on the phone ID where someone from OK City had called. I thought Kassie had told me they was going to move and that it might have been her. My daughter answered the phone. We didn't have much to say, but she told me that she had called because she and Kassie was going to drive down here. When I told hubby he said I don't want her down here right now. She also told me she was going back to work but on nights and that Kassie will have to stay some at night by herself. That girl is so messed up, I can't believe I raised her. I can only pray that God will take care of Kassie.

Amber~~I agree with you 100%. It is much easier to face 10 pounds than a 100 or even 20. Boy sounds like you bod is getting the work over and your going to be a knock out before you know it. All kidding aside, I thank it's great to have a good exercise program and to stick to it. Don't worry the scales will move on down, just stick to the program.

Skeeter~~I'm waiting for the time I can through a party for you, and even more for myself. Girl I got so mad yesterday I was fuming, hubby too. We went to BassPro in Mo. to buy a trolling motor for him. We picked out the one we wanted and discovered that if we applied for a basspro credit card we could get 10% off. Well that would have been 50.00 off. Guess what they turned up down flat. I got so mad I made him call back and to let me talk to them and see what the problem was. The problem is...We haven't charged anything in over 10 years. Can you believe that. I bet people filed for that card all day and got it, and I'm talking about people that owe money up to their ying yangs, and will have to be sent two notices before they will make a payment. We didn't buy nothing, just left and went and had Mexican food. Like to of burned my tongue off. I will never order anything that says carbon on it again. In case you don't know, that means hotter than hot. Oh we are going to order the trolling motor. And they was right not to give us the credit card, because we would have brought it home and cut it up and paid for the motor before they could charge us interest.

Hey Everyone

I am doing good with food today. I WILL do good the rest of the day!!!!

Marlana~I hope that you get your trolling motor in time for your vacation. It doesn't seem to take very long to get catalogue orders these days. We went to town yesterday and spent the whole days shopping. I got some stuff at Sears and started to put it on my Sears card and was talked into a new card for Sears through Master Card for 2.9% interest. I argued for a while because I don't pay interest but went ahead and got it. I was approved at the counter and she told me that I could transfer any balance from my old card to the new. I told her again that I don't pay interest therefore. there was no balance on my card. I use my cards when I shop and pay the full amount when the bill comes in. There are a lot of sales for a percentage off when you put it on the store cards. It makes it worth that stamp to mail the bill back in.

Sally~I hope that your weigh in went well. Well, another school year has started. Time sure flies. It only seems like yesterday that the kids got out for the summer. Now the summer is almost over and fall is approaching. It is hard for us to tell down here because it won't cool off until about Halloween. We usually get our first cool nights that week.

Kina~WTG with that 4# loss. That is a remarkable loss in one week. You must be doing everything right.

JoJo~What a relief that you have a little more time to find an insurance company. My knee hasn't gotten any better and I still haven't called the doctor. I think that it is damage inside and there won't be much that can be done for it, short of surgery. Don't want that right now. Things are starting to get back to normal around here once I caught up on the regular chores. I cleaned fish tanks today. I got a new fish yesterday while we were at Petsmart. It was so pretty that I couldnt' resist. His name is 6 Pac and he is pale yellow. There is a beautiful fluorescent blue color in his top fin when the light hits him a certain way. I walked away from this fish 3 times but my husband wouldn't leave. He said that I might as well get it or I would be talking about that pretty fish that I didn't get when I had the chance. Not a problem.

Y'all have a good evening. I am starting to hear thunder again. We have already had one storm this afternoon. I better get this posted and shut this machine down.
