Thank You ladies... I am down another pound.. so a total of 2 pounds down this week so far.. I am hoping another one by weigh in.. but will take what I can get lol.. I am excited lol..
Echo, I can not take regular over the counter cold meds like Neo Citron and Tylonol cold and flu as they increase my heart rate and I end up feeling way worse so I was willing to try anything yesterday.. thankk you so so so much for being an avid Jillian listener!!! :hug: lol |
Um... has anyone seen or heard from Hydra? I haven't seen her around here in a few days... I hope everything is okay..

So I've been a hungry hungry hippo today. I am really trying to figure out why I am self-sabotaging like this. I mean, I WANT to get down to 145. I've been there before it's not like it's this weight that I have never been at and OMG what will I do once I'm there. I WAS there. I know how good it feels. It's just that the exercising and diet part is not going as well as it was earlier in the summer. Plus, the added stress of weighing in for the BL challenge is just throwing me off. I've been hopping between 155 and 156 for the past 2-3 weeks. I need to rethink my game plan and start bringing in more fresh fruit and veggies. I have been slacking on my fruit intake lately... We're leaving tomorrow night for NJ. Going to be there til Mon night. Sigh to food. We're visiting inlaws as well as attending a good friend's wedding. Scale, say **** to an extra 5 lbs. :( I won't sign off before saying that I'm going to try my darndest to control portions all the more and exercise. I have the neighborhood to walk/jog in, a park nearby and a treadmill in the basement (at home). I have no excuses. Good job on the weight loss, Ang!!! :hug: |
Evening, Ladies. Not much going on. Worked really hard during my workout today. My poor abs. I think they cried a little through out the day. I have to get together with my in-laws this weekend. I'm hoping to keep it short and sweet and I don't plan on eating while I'm there. I don't have a desire to get together with them in the first place. I certainly don't want to have to spend enough time there to eat with them. XD

I've been super busy the last few days (I'm gearing up for grad school apps and the GRE...eek!), but have been mostly on plan. Hubby and I went out for Chinese last night, but I stuck to veggies (instead of the fried faux sesame chicken that was calling my name) and was still down a little this morning on the scale, despite all the extra sodium from the sauce. My confessions today: B: 1 mini cinnamon raison bagel with 1/2 tbsp ICBINBL, 1 banana S: 1 piece homemade pumpkin bread with 1 tbsp cranberry apple butter L: 1 morningstar chik patty, 1 medium sized apple D: 1 cup whole wheat pasta with homemade with tomato sauce, 1 faux sausage No exercise today, as I've met my 4x a week goal, but I may watch Ugly Betty from the gym instead of my couch anyway - we'll see. ETA: I did go to the gym - 10 min stationary bike and 30 min on the treadmill. |

It will take me a little while to get to know everyone, and some of you I may already know. I've been around 3FC for the past year and a half losing and gaining the same weight over and over for various excuses. UGH and I'm ready to get rid of it for good! So here I am :wave: I'm 28 happily married for 5 years as of this October, and I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl! I'm go to school at the University of Tennessee at Martin and major in secondary education in Biology and Chemistry.........I graduate in May and I'm super excited!!!! I'm going on a cruise to Mexico in May after I graduate with a friend....and I would love to feel better about myself. So that is a little about me! As for me. I don't know how I'm going to manage this afternoon. I have to get together for a bit with my inlaws. I think I'm going to eat my lunch before I go and just cut down on the total calories I take in for it. Just in case they decide they want to feed me something. My sister-in-law is something of a health person. At least what I've seen of her so far suggests that she is, so calories shouldn't be too much of an issue. In other news, I decided to leave Jillian in her box today. I decided I wanted to play nice with Pam today instead. I think I'm going to try working with Pam more over the next week. Downside? I don't want to haul my transfirmer out to work with me every day. Which means I'll have to get up early in the morning again. Bright side? I think getting up and getting that workout in first thing in the morning was doing really well for me. Kinda gets my body in to gear a LOT faster. |
Hey everyone! i hope everyone had a great Halloween!!
my confession from yesterday: well i did it! i finally did 30 day shred! i did level 1. and then thought oh its only 20 minute workout. and i'm used to working out for 1 hour on p90x, so i thought let me see what level 2 is like. so i did level 2 and then did level 3. mind you, i TOOK BREAKS!! she doesnt take any breaks! not even for water. so i paused the dvd sporadically throughout the workouts for little mini breaks. but also if i hadnt been doing p90x, i wouldnt have been able to do the 30day shred workouts. they are killers. but i follow anita, and then modify the workouts to my own level. but i felt great afterwards! i really liked the workouts. and i couldnt believe i was relieved when she would say, okay 2 minute cardio! i was like oh thank God. the strength training is TOUGH! luckily also cause she does alot of plyo work, ie jump training, i use my rebounder (mini trampoline) to protect my knee joints. i really love jillian. so i felt like i was a contestant on the biggest loser and she was training me!! yesterday, i did have 3 mini chocolate candy! and then felt slightly sick afterwards. small flake, small crunchie, and a small kitkat. total around 300 calories. but the rest of the day was okay. -- so i've not seen any loss on the scale. so i have decided to stick with eating 1500 calories STRICTLY. that is my BASIC BASIC BMR if i just lied in bed all day. and my BMR with sedentary activity is 1800. so i'm going to eat my BASIC BMR calories of 1500 and then do cardio workouts to bump up my calorie deficient/ burn. so thats my aim starting today! eat 1500 calories. and workout as much as i can. -- also i noticed if i just eat carbs , i get hungry real quick like within 2 hours. so i have to have some protein. also going to eat every 4 hours to keep my blood sugar stable. so thats 3 meals a day and 1 snack. so far today: breakfast - bowl of fruit and fibre cereal. and small piece of chicken with salad and 1 tbs of yogurt. then i did jillian's workout - the fat booster metabolism one, which is killer aswell! i was soaked after the workout lol. and now just drank 600ml of water. and then going to wait 15 minutes and have some lunch. |
hey ladies... just stopping for a min. to say hey and say this weekend was a total train wreck.. didn't do too bad calorie wise but food choices were horrific! lol I am exhausted as we had a fundraiser at work today and I am worn out! Didn't help of course that my niece n her bf (they are 16 n 18) went to a party bout half hour away last night and I stayed awake to drive to pic them up with my sister at 12:30am, getting in at 1:30am and u at 6 to bake for a bake sale lol. I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Echo..sounds like you had a great time!!! :grouphug:

and can i say, you are looking stunning in your avator picture! beautiful! ---- my confession today i made sure every meal i had some protein. breakfast i had cereal and then afterwards a small piece of chicken. then i waited 1 and half hours and did my first workout for the day. i did...jillian michaels dvd - the fat burner metabolism booster. modified and took a few breaks!! i love working out with jillian. everytime she says 5 4 3 2 1 i feel like im on the biggest loser hehe. its great! but boy its a killer workout. my hair was wet afterwards as if i had taken a shower, and i could feel beads of sweat coming off my face. i made sure i ate every 4 hours, to keep my blood sugar stable and stop myself from being overly hungry, and it worked. i went over my calorie intake by 169 calories. not too bad, since i was aiming for 1524 calories today. then i had lunch. and then after 1 and half hours i did workout 2 cardio X p90x - 45 minute cardio workout. then had dinner. total calories eaten 1693 caloried burned 1255 calorie deficient 1396 predicted pounds loss 0.40 |

And I agree up-ing my protein as well as eating at certain timed intervals has been a huge help to me as well!! I finally saw a big drop again.. 3.4 pounds this week... a happy me was I! lol |
Hey everyone! I have not been around for several days due to being busy and also having major pc problems. Everything is good now. I am down two more pounds and I met my Halloween goal.
I have still been calorie cycling and it seems to be working for me so far. Today was a heavy day at just under 1700 calories: coffee with milk water carnation breakfast drink grilled chicken sandwich french fries soda water small grilled chicken breast, plain large salad with 1/2 oz cheese and ranch carrot and celery sticks with low fat dip coffee with milk |
